Nope, but the trains are full carrying oil, so grain can't get to ports. Im sure only rural folks, big ag corporations, and poor people who need food abroad are affected though.

It's been good for business around here. Of course, far be it from me to take pleasure in the suffering of others...

Incorrect. The price of gas skyrocketed the summer before Obama's first election. It was the Great Gas Rape of 2008. The R's and the oil companies said it was caused by a sudden surge in Chinese demand for gas guzzling cars.

The price of gas declined after the 2008 election. I assume the Chinese decided to park their brand new Expeditions and go back to their old rickshaws.

Way up, thanks to fracking. Think of how much higher production would be, and how much lower gas prices would be, if the Feds would quit obstructing it.

So.

Wonder what has Barack Obola done today to make us feel unsafe (especially our women folk, who are particularly skittish these days).

Pretty sure the biggest story of the past 24 hrs, according to your sources, is the death of Ben Bradlee.

The shootings in Canada will be bigger news, especially if it turns out to be ISIS, AQ, or any one of the other terrorist groups.

Most people today have no idea who Ben Bradlee was.
