If there was ever ANY doubt as to whether this admin ever had a single clue about the real world, the economy, energy, border integrity.....this should remove that last doubt.

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel addressed the Conference of Defense Ministers of the Americas on Monday, unveiling a comprehensive plan for how the U.S. military will address the effects of climate change.

Rising global temperatures, increasing sea levels and intensifying weather events will challenge global stability, he said, and could lead to food and water shortages, pandemic disease and disputes over refugees and resources.

The Pentagon’s “2014 Climate Change Adaptation Roadmap” describes how global warming will bring new demands on the military.

Inconvenient truth: According to the UN's own College of Cardinals, there has been no global warming in 15 years.

Baghdad will start looking like Saigon 1975 fairly soon.

Of course the nurse is lying because if she would have maintained our bulletproof protocol, she wouldn't have been infected. Nothing to worry about, move along with your lives and border crossings...

Unfortunately, they are probably using standard PPE, not the class C suits. Lots cheaper.

Currently, the above is the rec from the CDC for Ebola......how about, no?

Level C's are much more expensive, and require much more training training.

Of course, you can wear a hood with the regular PPE, which is a bit better. And while you can't tell from the photo, those yellow gowns are see-thru, disposable, cheap. And while chemically scotchguarded, they are not impervious to fluids soaking through.

Compounding this issue is that Ebola patients projectile vomit, and spew diarrhea like a geyser. Oh, and they bleed, a lot. And have to have things like bedside dialysis.

I spoke to a few people in Dallas on this. It's a shame that we can't muster suits for the few cases we have in the US.

Interesting information from someone who knows what they are talking about.

In the Army we trained in chemical protective suits a lot. Even if the suits worked perfectly, the weak link was taking them off. It was easy to get the slime on your skin if you didn't do it just right. Maybe that's what happened to the nurse.

In the back of my mind (and probably millions of others) is the nagging belief that, if there is genuine danger to the general public, the government would never tell us.

Is that a fact? Where are these communist liberators coming from hellbent on this Baghdad marxist revolution? Cuba? Should we abandon our Iraqi embassy right now, just push the hellicopters off the aircraft carriers to make more room when more land with pro-Democacy Iraqi refugees?

If its not Taliban, its Al Quida. If it's not Al Quida, its the Chechyens in Russia. If its not the Chechyens, its two welfare boys in Boston at the 2013 marathon. If it's not two Massachusetts immigrant welfare cases, its ISIS. But no matter who it is, what their name is, its always the same f-cking problem over and over, Islam. Until we get rid of Islam, we are not really fixing the problem.

Actually, if you had said "Until we get rid of religion, we're not really fixing the problem", I would have agreed with you. But I would still say "good luck with that"...

Barack Obama and his political party are heading into the midterm elections in trouble. The president’s 40 percent job approval rating in a new ABC News/Washington Post poll is the lowest of his career – and the Democratic Party’s popularity is its weakest in polling back 30 years, with more than half of Americans seeing the party unfavorably for the first time.

This doesn't make any sense at all. How can a party have such a negative rating when absolutely zero negative stories about their policies/lies/prevarications are reported.

Sounds like things are getting serious, he didn't even do this when Benghazi blew up in his face.

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama abruptly canceled a planned campaign/fund raising trip Wednesday and planned to convene his Cabinet at the White House instead, as U.S. officials grappled with the widening Ebola crisis.

Now, if he cancels a golf outing, you'll know we're in deep sh!te!!!!11
