I wouldn't doubt it. We can't run the ball for squat. Our defense isn't as dominating as last year. And our walking wounded list is longer than my arm.

Re: Alabama Crimson Tide
AA's SEC POWER RATINGS
1. Sakerlina. The OBC has 'em playing great. They eviscerated UGA.
2. Florida. Don't look now, but the Gatahs are back. Coach Boom has worked magic in G-ville - who before the season woulda given them the nod over LSU?
3. LSU. Sure they had a set-back against Florida, but remember, Florida is ranked second! (See above).
4. Bama. The Tide is a shakey 4th in this poll. Jalston Fowler? Gone for the year. Dee Hart? Ditto. DeAndrew White? You guessed it. Bama looks less like a football team and more like a hospital ward.
5. Miss State. Top 25 is no surprise for this team. Look for them to upset Bama in a few weeks.
6. UGA. Too much talent to be this low.
7. TAMU. Johnny Maniac (sp?) is the most exciting player in the conference.
8. Ole Miss. Played Bama tough and really should have beaten TAMU.
9. (tied) Tennessee, Vandy, Mizzou
12. Arkansas
13. Auburn
14. Kentucky

Former Bammer head coach Mike Price's job could be in jeopardy tonight. Let's all say a prayer for him.

You mean the guy who came to Tuscaloosa, resided over a few practices, never coached a game and never signed a contract? That's not a coach.

Sandbaggery? I just don't understand how you guys consider the obvious truth to be sandbagging?Professor Tiger wrote:When it comes to sandbaggery, you are a worthy padawan learner to your master AA.GBJs wrote:I wouldn't doubt it. Not a bad read about Bear, from a Missouri beat writer.

He was also hired, fired, and in between, performed duties and was paid, as head coach.GBJs wrote:You mean the guy who came to Tuscaloosa, resided over a few practices, never coached a game and never signed a contract? That's not a coach.

Re: Alabama Crimson Tide
Well, our smoke and mirrors seems to have worked... No. 1 in the first BCS poll. Perhaps before the brave but battered list became so long and distinguished.
It's always a fun ride though. Even our smoke and mirrors wouldn't work if not for Saban. I'll take it.
