I hope I'm wrong but when it comes to the Reds, I'm usually not.

Tony won't be at the GAP with the Cards.

Never the less, the pitching pairings favor the Cards, because they have better pitchers. :D

Better hitters too, but that won't be pivotal.

Last year LaRussa fooled with his starting rotation so that his starting 1-3 pitched in every series against the Reds because he was scared. It worked but they still lost the division. Nice to see his bench coach has some balls to throw whoever is next in the rotation.

You have to admire the Reds moxie. They don't quit, and they take advantage of opportunities.

The Cardinals bullpen is just awful at closing out games. They've lost 5 games because they don't have a proper closer.

Sanchez is very talented, but he isn't ready to close at this level.

The Red's official scorer is out of his mind for not giving the Cardinals two errors tonight. Home town scoring is wonderful if you're a visiting player and you can't catch.

IMO Joey Votto is the best Reds player in a generation. Ken Griffey as a Red was light years away from him. Eric Davis is somewhat comparable but to find a real crediable match you have to go back to Rose, Morgan, Perez, and Bench.
