In re: the last two posts, this year's championship certainly was one of those that make you rethink the value of championships when trying to rank the great ones. Like ya'll said, Spurs win game six 99+% of the time. Does the fact that they bucked those astronomical odds detract from Tim Duncan's legacy or add to Lebron's? Just a pure fluke that really shouldn't move the needle whatsoever on either Duncan's or LeBron's career legacy - Duncan still has 4 rings and has done everything and more than anybody at his position ever has; LeBron is on his way to similar, if not even better, personal and team stats, if Miami had lost, it would've meant LeBron "only" won 5 instead of 6 (or 4 instead of 5, or 6 instead of 7, etc). I will say that I was thinking that if the Spurs won, I was going to put Duncan in the same class as Bill Russell. I guess he's already there, really, but for some reason, winning the championship this year was going to be the final accolade that put him indisputably in Russell's class. I know Russell won more, but it was a different era, blahblahblah...

Too bad CD isn't around here. The Jazz finally have a player that I really like. I think Trey is going to be a really solid PG. Maybe make 2 or 3 All-Star games.

How great it would be to find out Tim Duncan was gay...not so great that his ex-wife outs him.

"Amy treated Tim like a b*** throughout their marriage because she knew he was f**** his BFF.,” a source close to the couple previously told the media. “Tim knows Amy was cheating on him but he's willing to give her whatever she wants, because he doesn't want Amy to tell the world that he's bisexual."
Other news reports have indicated that Tim Duncan hired a private investigator to begin tailing his wife as far back as a year ago. Duncan’s attorney have indicated he plans to enforce the prenuptial agreement the couple signed at the time of their union, which came four years after he was selected as the first pick in the 1997 NBA draft. Just last year, Duncan inked a 3-year, $36 million extension with the team.

Pro Basketball Player JJ Redick Reportedly Had “Abortion Contract” With Girlfriend
We have no idea how to write an irreverent lede for a story like this, so let’s just get down to brass tacks: back in 2007, Milwaukee Bucks player JJ Redick reportedly entered into what media outlets are calling an “abortion contract” with onetime girlfriend Vanessa Lopez, model and former mistress to Shaquille O’Neal. Lopez, we deduce from the documents, had gotten pregnant and the newly-surfaced paperwork represents an agreement between she and Redick that she’d receive an abortion. And prizes!
The documents show that Redick (Jonathan C. Redick) demanded proof that Lopez had terminated her pregnancy. He’d then agreed to “attempt a relationship” with Lopez for one year, so long as she showed said proof–per the unsettling legal language, they’d “attempt to establish and maintain a social and/or romantic relationship between themselves for a period of one year from the date of this Agreement (hereinafter “The Relationship”).”
If the relationship didn’t work out after that one year, Redick agreed to pay Lopez $25,000 (!). More unsettling still, any contact after the dissolution of the relationship would be considered “stalking.”
Redick, for what it’s worth, denied the whole thing in a series of Tweets last night:
“I’d like to respond to the outrageous, false and malicious media reports regarding a prior relationship between myself and V Lopez in 2007. [...] Ms Lopez was not and has never been pregnant with a child fathered by me. [...] And Ms. Lopez did not and has never terminated a pregnancy of a child fathered by me. [...] Continued attention to these lies is severely damaging to myself and my family. Thank you.”

The groupie pool is not as big as one would think. The overall pool is big, but the core pool of groupies is small (the rules are too tough/insane for most women to roll with the lifestyle for any stretch of time) and the amount of overlap amongst the players is kind of high.
There is a reason why Superhead could write a whole book on the celebrities she knocked off...and she only detailed the famous ones.

I don't doubt that there is overlap, but from Shaq to JJ Reddick? I bet Shaq's dick is bigger than his arm...
