Our DB's need to get rid of the dropsies more than putting the their gloves on jerseys. The only call I had issue with was the fumble - thought his knee was down and the whistle was late. Thankfully it was not pivotal.
Ghost that's the problem with SEC officiating...They've been consistent for years and have consistently sucked ass. At least they didn't change their minds on what PI was between halves.

The offensive PI that wasn't called at the end of the 1st half was just embarrassing, though. I think that's what got Muschamp so pissed off.

Nothing terribly inspiring in Lexington. Skill players doing well and defense doing more good than bad - that makes for solid wins against poor to average teams. UF made it through the first 4 unscathed and mostly uninjured, lets enjoy that for a day.

We get the Tide in prime time. Doubt it will make a difference for either team mentally.

Time to head north. Hope Weis can keep the Tide's D off balance today, and everyone (receivers, rbs, and dbs) have sticky hands; we can't afford any drops tonight. To win this thing guys like Dunbar and Hammond are going to have to come through with a few major grabs.

Exactly how I figured it would go.

As I posted on the Bammer thread this week, their lines played smashmouth ball with our lines and made them look 1-AA, their LB's and DE's were fast enough to block the outside running lanes before Rainey and Demps got to them. Once they established that our running game was non-existent, the passing game was much easier to stop, and after Brantley went down we couldn't score a point to even keep the score respectable. That was the worst display of tackling since the Fiasco Bowl.

The only good thing about yesterday was Auburn beating Carolina, which gave us a shot at the division if we only lost to Bama and LSU. If Brantley is done for the year though, we could go 1-6 or 2-5 the rest of the way. Over the years UF has done pretty well with freshman QBs, but I haven't seen a glimmer of ability from Driskell yet, even in mop up time.

I know you needed USCe to lose afa keeping pace...but it's never a good thing when Auburn wins.

Gators are going all HIPAA on the media these days in the way they describe injuries, or don't describe that is.

Brantley has "a leg injury" but indications are that it won't require surgery. Guess it isn't an ACL then, yay. Seen on campus walking in a boot, rumor is a high ankle sprain. Those take forever to heal to the point of being able to play effectively.

Bottom line - Driskell starts at LSU, backed up by a walkon QB and rs-freshman. This is not going to be pretty, protect young children's eyes from the slaughter.

TUSCALOOSA | Former University of Alabama football player Reggie Myles has filed a complaint with the University of Florida Police Department alleging that he was attacked by Florida defensive lineman Dominique Easley outside Ben Hill Griffin Stadium shortly after the Crimson Tide's 38-10 win over Florida on Saturday night.

In the wake of the incident, Myles was detained and charged by police himself,
lmao

Standard procedure when dealing with Tide football players, I'm sure.

Heh. Also, I don't remember this guy, but apparently he was good enough to play in the NFL for a few years.
