Welp, if you let us count JR Smith (I don't, but still), UNC has 2 former players on each of the NBA finalists' teams. This article is from 2012, I can't find an updated version...

"Through the entire history of the NBA, a total of 29 titles have been won by 14 former Tar Heels. According to Fox Sports Florida, that is the most by any college—above UCLA (26), Ohio State (25), San Francisco (25), Minnesota (18) and Kentucky (17).

Where is Duke on that list?

Despite Mike Krzyzewski producing the second-most NBA players in league history, former Duke players have only won two NBA championships—Danny Ferry in 2003 and Jeff Mullins in 1975 (before Coach K). That is every bit as shocking to me as the astounding number Carolina has won.

Even more impressive is that UNC products continue to produce NBA championships beyond their playing years. Including general managers and coaches, UNC has produced a total of 42 titles."

Any guesses as to why?

One week after receiving a formal Notice of Allegations from the NCAA, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is continuing to review the extensive document.

UNC-CH Chancellor Carol L. Folt said Thursday, the document, that has been requested by WRAL News, will not be released until next week at the earliest.

“I’m committed to getting it out as soon as possible … but there’s a little bit of work to be done,” Folt said.

I have to remind you AGAIN about this bullshit.

Tod Lanter – M Basketball – Marketing
Brian Long – M Basketball – Communication
Sam Malone – M Basketball – Marketing
Jarrod Polson – M Basketball – Finance/Marketing
Alex Poythress – M Basketball – Accounting

LMAO.

Malone - 0 mins
Long - 1 min
Lanter - Not even listed??
Polson - 281 mins
Poythress - The only one that played every game this season and had like 700+mins.

LMAO x 2. Really?

Come on now. Apparently those 5 were able to overcome their learning disabilities.

Those "players" carried the GPAs for the entire team but whatever works, go with it.
Always enjoyable to periodically tug on BRM chain ........

No clue. Just rumors from multiple sources there will be no major, if any, penalties due to the NCAA deeming it an academic issue and they don't get involved, which has been my point all along. However, plenty of damage has already been done, tangible and intangible.

Work and life have been crazy. My wedding is Saturday. Except for one drunken romp, we haven't had sex since May 1 because she wants the wedding night to be special, which means it will be fifteen seconds instead of thirty.

Here's good advice. Weddings are tiring. Try not to leave for the honeymoon for one day (gives you time to go through the envelopes for money). She's going to go into that bathroom to make herself special for you. She'll take her time, and time, and time and time. Whatever you do, do not, do not, DO NOT FALL ASLEEP.

my first wedding was such a big deal that I didn't really get to enjoy it because I was constantly dealing with issues.

I guess that is why people spend $$ on wedding planners.

We are going on our honeymoon two weeks later, June 20. The week of June 22 is Judge's Conference Week. There is no court throughout the state except for Friday. I don't have to take a week of secure leave (leave you take with the court system so that your cases will not be called), and I can take a week of secure leave afterwards so I can be in the office the first week back to catch up without having to worry about getting called for trial.

My mom and the fiancé had a major knockdown, drag out, Defcon 1, nuclear fight the Saturday night of Memorial Day. Things will never be the same, but it was bound to happen. I am the baby, and this was going to happen with any woman I married. My fiancé was mostly in the right, but she should have handled it better by addressing the issues sooner.

I'm sure that was her plan...

Please elaborate...
