There's just too much Bama in him. He's back in custody and undergoing psychological evaluation:

It is a sad story. It sounds as if there are real mental issues at play. I feel for his family.

Hard to believe that the state of Alabama hired that guy as a state trooper. Head of the Alabama highway patrol, according to AA. Shameful...

It's okay. He quit the troopers to teach Af-Am studies at UNC.

I feel for his family.
That family would include his children named "Crimson Tide Updyke" and "Bear Bryant Updyke."

I want it noted that I did not encourage or instigate this sass, which means that U*NC academics is now the butt of jokes by an Alabama and UAB fan based on it's own merits or lack thereof.

UAB fan? You, sir or madam, will take that back or become a target of my acerbic riposte.

One of my degrees came from UAB, nothing more. If not for politics and a blatant power grab, UAB would still be an extension center for THE University of Alabama.

AA you've been doing this too long... you know explanations are not necessary to subordinates.

Good point.

Anyway, when people ask why Saban recruits so many RBs and the rival fan worries about the Bama back-ups being unhappy due to scant playing time, we need to remember this year. First, Jalston Fowler gone for the year with a knee and now Dee Hart, who is out for the year after re-injuring the same knee he had surgery on last year.

So, our number 1 back is Lacy, with TJ as the 2 and Kenyon Drake as the 3. The 4 will probably be either (walk-on) Ben Howell, or QB/RB Blake Sims. There is some talk that we may move Brent Calloway back to RB.

Still rooting for Blake Sims :)

Bama will be all right but it still weakens the team to have injuries like that. FSU is feeling the loss of Brandon Jenkins on the DL even though we're as deep as anyone there, and I wish Greg Reid hadn't struck out.

There is no doubt it weakens. Dee Hart hurts, but Jalston Fowler, a few weeks back, hurt even more. We used him as a flex back, full back, AND as the 2nd string RB.

Also, DeAndrew White, 3rd string WR, gone for the year.

Hey AA, I am now in Eutaw house hunting. I've never seen so many antebellum mansions. I'm not in that particular market, though. Can you make any recommendations on the dog track? The staff there all recognize your name.
