I like how eCat has come back today but won't speak of the game. HIs kids will be saying, "Daddy never spoke of that Wisconsin game again."

What about a program hiring a "big time" basketball coach who's only college experience was playing at Juco, DII, and SWAC levels 30 years ago?

You said not to start a discussion on irony, then you immediately engaged aTm in the same. Were you being... ironic?

It all comes down to expectations. Last year, that team lost so many regular season games and then had to scratch and claw and win close games almost every time to get to the finals, so when they lost to an inferior UConne team, UK fans weren't as disappointed as they are this year, even though Wisconsin is far superior this year to what UConne was last year. But the fact is, that team beat way more better teams (including Wisconsin) than this year's squad beat. I think they would have beaten this year's squad b/c they knew how to win close games. Yes, there were many of the same players, but Young and Randle and even Poythress I think were more seasoned than this year's squad simply b/c they played so many close games. They were tested, this year's team really wasn't. Hell, they *should* have lost to Notre Dame. But whatever, any fan is always going to revel more in a team that went undefeated against a very weak schedule than a team that lost a few games against a much tougher schedule, even if the latter team wins a championship. It's not fair, but what is?

UK blew it by not going to KAT in the final 4 minutes. It was the Harrison show...something I was afraid of when I first saw them play in the Jordan Classic back in 2013.
Go Wisky!
The only reason I'm annoyed is because I wanted to see a Towns v Okafor matchup because I see Towns as such a better prospect. Okafor is not the true beast of that Duke team. Winslow is the guy who will actually be a difference maker in the next level. I hate Duke and even I can see that.

The general consensus amongst everyone at my house Saturday night was that Winslow would be the better pro. My friend Murray agreed, even though he was in the midst of losing 6k on the evenings games. That asshole loves to play the lines for each half. It cost him dearly Saturday night...He sulked and took several shots of wild turkey in an effort to ease the pain.

Okafor is more physical but lacking in offensive capability. If he could make free throws half decent, he would be the go to guy against Wisconsin because they have no one who could physically defend him down low.

Had it not been for the twins Wisconsin would have blown you out.

"You?" My cart wasn't attached to the UK horse.
The twins giveth and they tooketh away (sic). The first half, especially with Towns' foul trouble, the Harrison kids balled their asses off. That doesn't negate the fact that four straight possessions they turned the ball over with 3 shot clock violations and a steal. It reminded me of Kobe Bryant. Yeah, I love to see Kobe take over a game. However, when things get in the crunch, you start from the inside and then check what's available. The twins never started from the inside. They took it at the top of the key until 10 seconds was on the clock and tried to make something happen. It was boneheaded..especially up 4 points with Towns shooting 80% from the line. Not a good look.
Also, Sardis, Okafor has a great offensive game. He has soft hands and passes out of the double team well. He is just shit from the foul line and doesn't rebound aggressively. He will get his lunch taken from him at the next level if he doesn't get some things straight. Towns is ready for a productive 20 mins in the L right now.

I see that working out of town during the week has allowed you to increase goth internet presence. Life away from sis's watchful eye must be relaxing, but rest assured that her nagging and orders are only a phone call away.
