First laugh I've had in a long time in regards to anything basketball related. Well done, Saint.

I was thinking the same thing, what the heck happened to this place? It's a shadow of what it was back in the day...

Not a great game for Callipari. Up 4 and he decided to play not to lose from that point forward. Well, he lost.

Tough way to go out for UK. I thought Wiscy was fading. UK getting the off. rebounds b/c Wiscy's legs were tired. But I agree, UK didn't go for the knockout and instead played deliberate and let them catch their breath.

I wonder if Wiscy has anything left for Duke on Monday. That would be the true tragedy in all this: if Duke wins and doesn't have to beat UK to do it.

Some bad calls at the end: the shot clock violation that turned into 2 points, a foul against Kaminsky on Harrison that wasn't but there was also the slap of the Wiscy player on the ball going out of bounds that didn't get called.

Pretty good game that lived up to the hype. I thought UK was going to do it but the one little niggling doubt that I had was that Vegas would be reamed if that happened. Should've figured it wouldn't.

I feel for eCat but am happy for Dave.

It's a sucky feeling to lose this late. I know that with football, anyway.

Certainly he shouldn't have said it, but I've always been against sticking a mic in a players face right after a tough loss.

No doubt the shot clock violation didn't help, but this one is on Calipari. Taking the air out of the ball up 4 cost UK the game. Cal did the same against Kansas when at Memfus. Dave was right.

That's not sticking a mic in a player's face, that's a press conference, assuming that was the right clip. If you don't like talking to the media (and the rest of the world) after an NCAA-mandated 10 minute cooldown period, then don't go to the press conference.

Yeah, coming off the court or field, you're bound to get anything from an athlete after a tough loss but saying it in a press conference is a whole other deal.

I'll admit, part of me was a little disappointed when it become obvious in the final seconds that UK was going down. I hate to see them add another title but at this point, I'm pretty much over fan rivalries. Maybe if Crow were here to rub it in, it would be more fun but eCat, crotch, Bluecat (whenever he comes out of lurk mode) aren't really deserving of that. Still would have made for a lot of fun Monday night to have Kentucky vs. Duke in the final.

I haven't seen UK play much this season, hardly at all. Realized I didn't know many of their players' names, just the twins and the big black dude with the hyphenated Jewish name and the Karl guy. What happened to Dakari? I don't remember seeing him tonight.

I do think Wisconsin was probably unlike any team UK had played in that the Badgers were big and physical inside but their bigs could also hit perimeter shots
It seemed like Kentucky players looked surprised once or twice to get their shots blocked on the low post by Kaminsky or the other whitey.

The main thing is that this must be a bitter pill to swallow for the old guard UK faithful: to have their high-flying all-black team defeated by a team of honkies who look like they're from the '50s.
