Thanks for the example that proves my point that I don't sandbag, I just accurately predict games: YES, LSU was the favorite with Vegas and YES I did say I thought LSU would win and YES I was correct. LSU won.

I give up. You folks will obviously believe whatever you wish even in the face of obvious and overwhelming proof to the contrary.

What do you expect AA? Most of 'em wear orange on purpose.

Wrong, I do not watch Fox News (or MSNBC).

Having brats and Sconnie beer at State Street right off campus here in Madison. Have seen a fight and two girls kissing. It's gonna be a good night.

Madison is a cool city. Kinda like a midwestern version of Austin...

Only time in Madison was for the 2002 OSU-Wisky game. Fans were not nearly as bad as their reputation, at least not that year.

I have a conference. Out in the middle of nowhere, Verona, Wi, is the headquarters of a world-class, billion dollar healthcare computer eDoc company. It's called Epic.
And I'm digging Madison. Sitting on the patio here at State Street Brats, and it's 65F and about 15% humidity. Feels like late October feels in Bham.

Spent Thurs-Sunday in Chicago. Good times there, and now the good times in Madison.
Yes, I've missed the road junket, business trip.

Have to admit it's been 25 years since I was in Madison, but it made a strong favorable impression. Sounds like things haven't changed much, which I'm glad to hear. The student union sat right by a good sized lake and they served a wide variety of good beer, which (if it's even still there) I suspect has expanded since 1987. I might feel a little out of place at the student union these days (not that I'd let that stop me), but it was a great setting...

You can see Madison from Muir Woods. If you don't believe me, put in "hasler laboratory of limnology" into google maps and see what comes up...

Hot Waitress - "You're not from around here, are ya?"
Me- "Nope."
HW - "Where ya from?"
Me- " Alabama by way of New Orleans."
HW- "No, you're not from the South - that's obvious - where ya from?"
Me - "No, really, Alabama by way of NOLA."
HW- "I'm not dumb! Communications is my major and I'm more Southern than you and I've never been south of St. Louis! Where ya from?"
Me- "Phoenix."
HW- "I knew it!"

You left out a couple of "Doncha know's" and "yah's" and "You betcha's" from the waitress's script.
If she's from Madison, she doesn't shave her armpits or legs, and is probably a lesbian.
