You won by FOUR touchdowns.

Some people, who didn't watch the game, but just looked at the final scour may mistakenly conclude that we won handily. The reality is the Bulldogs gave us fits for 60 minutes and physically beat us up. Our pyrrhic victory was actually all smoke and mirrors.

Auburn has its problems - inability to run and key injuries at LB and OL. But it looks like every team in the SEC has issues right now. Nobody looks invincible.

Yeah, right, like there are ANY SEC teams with weaknesses. You don't watch ESPN much do you?

Auburn can't run.
Alabama turns the ball over and can't defend the pass.
LSU already lost to MississiPPi State.
MississiPPi St. and Ole Miss might actually be very good. We'll soon find out.
Mizzou just lost to Indiana, which tells you all you need to know.
aTm looks probably the best, although they struggled against a bad Arkansas team.
Arkansas: see above.
South Carolina already has two conference losses.
Georgia has a fabulous running back, but little else and a long history of choking.
Tennessee and Florida both well and truly suck.
Kentucky is just counting the days until basketball season.
Vandy is just counting the days until the MCAT and LSAT scores are released.

Damn Prof , you make the SEC look like the BG10 when you put it like that.

How very AAesque of you.

Thank you for the compliment. But I am just purveying the truth - that nobody in the SEC is dominant right now. aTm appears to be on top. This may be the year that the MississiPPi schools mount a serious challenge. The best team in the East would be the 5th best team in the West, and will be flogged in the SECCG.

I see Oregon lost. That means Bama, Oklahoma and Auburn will move up. I don't like it when Auburn gets this highly rated. I've been an Auburn fan since the '70's, and if I've learned one thing about Auburn it's this: the higher we're ranked, the worse we play and vice versa.

LSU is really down this year. I'm delighted that we beat them, but they will lose to several other teams in addition to Auburn.

I appreciate Aubie's efforts to demoralize them last night. Perhaps they will be so down on themselves a Treon led Gator team will have a chance this weekend.

Give Driskel just one more chance. He has proven over and over again that he needs to be the starting QB of the Gators.

Congrats to MSU. We spotted them two easy TD's by turning the ball over twice in the first two minutes, and couldn't quite dig ourselves out. They turned the ball over too, but we got field goals while they got TD's. The ref's made some terrible calls against us too, but bottom line: MSU outplayed us overall.
