1) Tell them the conference has to stay at 8 members and that Navy or Army have to be the 8th team (football only). That gives ND the most ooc scheduling flexibility.

2) ND gets to keep its NBC deal and all that caaiish for all home games.
If they haven't done that by now, why in the hell they do that when the Big East is dying. Got any more brillant ideas?

It's a shame that UC finally gets in a good conference and does well. Then the floor falls out from under them.

ND will be forced to make a long term decision, eithier completely independent, which might leave them out of a playoff system, or the Big Ten. There's a lot talk about the ACC, bullshit, they'll be in the Big Ten before this decade is over. They'll go in kickin cryin', and screaming, but they won't have a choice.

Damn, why didn't he wait until after the Texans' game?

The reason they would do it now is because it would provide them a conference they could boss around like Texas did/does with the Big 12 and they are getting perilously close to the point where they have to be in a conference to have access to the BCS. So you can go to the Big 10 and have no special status, or you can run the Big East.

I don't think Notre Dame will do it, but its not a bad idea.

Why couldn't this happen to the Bengals? Or better yet, a meteor strike on the Brown family reunion.

I thought he did OK. I'd make him the starting QB.

Orton isn't going to do anything

He's a great wildcat back.

A decent QB.

A shitty passer.

Holy crap were any of his passes on target? Even when he has wide open receivers.

No. Its because Orton &Quinn are FA after this season and they are not making the playoffs this season. See what he's got and if he sucks, you're in the Luck sweepstakes.
