If you like to wager on college football bet the house on the gators and 9.5. Harris isn't but a small step down and the gator d plans to suit up for this game. It isn't like Harris never started a game and the coaches had a full week to put in a Harris game plan. Remember he went 4-2 last season with muschamp calling plays.

If I remember correctly the plays were turn right, run left, two yard pass, punt.

If UF had about a 25% chance of beating LSU with Grier, they have about a 20% chance of winning with Harris.

Closer to 40%. Harris will excell in the first half simply because LSU has no idea what to prepare for. Harris will not be running last years plays under this coaching staff. The defense won't stay in gainesville. L. S. U. Will have to pass. The. D. Learned their lesson vs Tennessee about tackeling instead of just knocking down.

Sorry out the spelling hedge. All I got from UF was a double E. My typing program corrected my spelling for me.

Dammit - I was gonna load up on the Gators at 9.5 - now that Sav has endorsed them I am scared shitless of the bet

Hopefully tOSU isn't the only team with 2 good quarterbacks. Still think they get beat. Hope not though.

We already stole one game we didn't deserve to win, taking another was too much to ask. It had its fun moments though.
A few observations while the body is still warm -
Fournette is Herschel Freaking Walker all over again. The only effective defense against him is the NFL Draft.
The 1st quarter was exactly what UF needed to do, get some first downs and seize opportunities.
The 2nd quarter was exactly what UF needed to avoid. 3 of LSU's TDs came after UF's offense went 3 and out.
UF's punt return TD was a curse in part, the defense had to come back on the field with no rest after stopping LSU.
The play calling on the last realistic drive was putrid. There was enough time on the clock to run some passes underneath and even a run or two to get the offense running.
How many freaking times are we going to fall for a freaking Mad Hatter fake FG? They should be always looking for that, especially in the 4th quarter.
The game showed UF can do just about as well with Harris as it would with Grier. Next comes UGha, not as dangerous as the looked earlier but still dangerous enough and aching to return the favor UF put on them last year.

A lot better than I expected.

Sav knew what he was talking about.
People used to claim Les was the charmed happy idiot that Gumped his way to championships, but the guy has sack and always coaches to win. Unlike some who tend to sit on a lead and pray. ::sigh::

What y'all said. Won't surprise me if this team plays the West in Atlanta.

I agree with ghost. The play calling was terrible the last series. But so was Treon's decision making. He had Powell wide open for
a first down and with his running ability maybe more. Experience under there present coaching staff wouldn't have hurt.

Perfect weekend off. Both the Gators and Bengals have bye weeks.

TWLOCP Week is here. I would have rather UF entered this game as underdogs with little to lose. Instead they are giving a FG with the division title on the line, a campus lottery kicker, and the same shaky issues with an inconsistent OLine and QB. Even without Chubb, UGha is dangerous and carrying an enormous grudge from last year. Plus they finish with Vandy, tucky and Aubie, so win this and they are in Atlanta.

Doesn't Georgia always carry a grudge into this game? Being little brother to UF has got to grow old in Athens I would think.

This one has the makings of a mid 90s beat down. I just hope The U calls Richt home after the season and we can move on after another disappointing 8-4 season.

Evidently 8-4 is fine with the administration. As long as they keep selling out home games.
