And there's this young true freshman RB in Tusssc A Loosa named T.J. Yeldon. 11 touches. 111 yards and his last run was a 1 yard TD! Definitely worth messing up the YPC average for the TD, but he's gonna be a good one.

Any o you guys ever heard of him?

It was OK. Nice win but we had a little let down after the middle of the first half. Saban will work out the kinks.

Relentless without mercy, though 41-14 has a nice ring to it for some reason

That was a nice game to start Saban's 6th season at Alabama.

Since December 2007, we're 50-6 under Saban. Truly, worth every cent.

Congratulations. That was a curb-stomping from the outset. Before the game, I had convinced myself that Michigan had a real chance to win, and would at least be competitive. After watching the game, I'm actually amazed Michigan even scored. That offensive line is Nebraska-in-its-prime good, and Michigan's defensive front seven didn't belong on the same field with them. I have to believe Michigan's a better team than we saw last night, but on the basis of the evidence, I'd have to say if these two teams played 100 times, Michigan wouldn't win a single one.

Thanks, Jason.

I think Michigan will be fine. Positives for M:

* Michigan scored the first offensive TD against the Alabama D since the 2nd quarter of the Georgia Southern game back in November of last year.

* Once Bama got up big, and Denard was banged-up, it changed the dynamic of the M gameplan, which made the final score worse than what it should have been.

* M's D held Bama to only 10 points in the second half

* Apparently no one in Maize and Blue was killed

i'm kicking myself right now, Bodog had Bama as 13 point favourites and I was expecting something like 17-21 points, I was screaming to myself that this is EASY money

then I played the "second guess myself" game and then the "what does vegas know that I dont know?" game

horrible, should have went with my gut feeling

Bama vs. USCw in the BCSCG. AA and GBJ can go ahead and make reservations.

Never get too high after a win or too low after a loss. With that in mind, I still think LSU wins the SEC. I don't see us going to Baton Rouge and coming out with a W.

After the man handling LSU gives our brave but over matched lads, we may wind up in Shreveport.

Bammer is so good this year, that's as deep as AA can go into the sand with a straight face.

I have never sandbagged. I remember on CNNSI, with Dubose as our coach, I would give my opinion and people would call it Sandbagging. People just don't know how to take honest commentary with Bama. It must be the mystique of the crimson jersey.

That said, we have a very good team this year. As usually with Nick's teams, we are very physical and punishing. We'll take your head off, but against a team of equal physicality, talent takes over. And in that category, LSU, has the edge. Plus, they're at home.

Last year, Bama went into the 1st game with the edge in talent and was the home team, yet I recall you rationalizing LSU as the favorite. Subtle sandbagging with the perfect cover of LSU pulling out the win.

AA cracks me up with his sandbagging.
