Syracuse should just tell the NCAA to fuck off. The NCAA won't be relevant anyway by the time the penalties expire.

Looks like Harrison Barnes with the assist on that play (hitting the 3 is the assist on a pass like that). Glad I got to see Curry and Davidson upset G'town in the NCAA tourny in Raleigh. Never thought Curry would be able to perform at that level in the league, but has....

Pretty sure Curry would've gone to UNC if we had offered, but I don't think he was that highly touted in high school. I am positive Chris Paul would've come to UNC if offered. Talk about recruiting whiffs...

As much as I have loved my Gators for 40 years now I'm hoping UK wins today. The Gators season has been shit and there is no way they make the dance. I'd rather see UK run the table all the way. I like Cal. Not as much as Billy but I like how he games the system. Had this game been a battle for the SEC Championship I'd feel differently.

"Kobe said Duke, Nowitski said UK - if only it all panned out....."

Heel turn: Kobe Bryant says that if he’d gone to college, he’d have chosen North Carolina, not Duke

That was already a FF team that year. Add Kobe to Vince Carter and Jamison... wow. And, FWIW, Stackhouse and Rasheed would have been seniors that year. That would have never happened, but still...

"Like Patrick Ewing's recent revelation that he might have chosen UNC if not for a Ku Klux Klan rally that took place during his official visit, Kobe's claim lends itself to some neat thought experiments and what-ifs."

So instead of Jordan, Perkins and Worthy vs. Ewing in 1982, it would have been Jordan, Perkins, Worthy AND Ewing against... hell, does it matter?

Seems as if I heard it on ESPN a couple years back that Kobe said he would have chosen Dook for his school....

I heard Kobe say it, but it may have been revisionist - because this was after he played for K on team USA

UF had the right idea, just not the consistency to pull it off.

If UK faces a team that stays composed - has two strong interior guys, a good point guard and a good shooter that still has something left in the tank at the end, they can beat UK.

But that is what its going to take.

I haven't seen Zona or Virginia, but I think Duke is our worst matchup, and Wisconsin would be a problem, but only because we ripped their heart out in the Final Four last year.

and of course I'm biased, but anyone that takes Okafor over Towns at this point is a moron.

Zona is on next. I would like to see how UK takes on a top 5 team but I guess we're gonna have to wait a while
