Did it have a revolving restaurant on top? Being low man I doubt your expense account could afford the food though. You should have made the walk down to the Waterfront. You would have loved my show.

Isn't that a Days Inn?

I don't really enjoy watching UK embarrass any SEC team - this Auburn game does nothing to improve UK.

If it is his expense account sucked. Days Inn across the river is/was a hooker hangout

Was fortunate to see 3 games in old Crosley Field. Each year after the Little League season was over, we got to go see a Reds game. We always had to sit in the Sun Deck in right field except for once we got to sit in the upper deck along the first base line. Got to see Gordie Coleman, Frank Robinson, Vada Pinson, Johnny Edwards, Leo Cardenas Wally Post, Bob Perky, Joe Nuxall and others. My brother almost caught a Frank Robinson home run ball when we were in the Sun Deck. Ball hit his hand and went out of the stadium onto the street. I remember they had a strand of barb wire along the top of the deck. Also got to see Wally Moon, Koufax Ron Peranoski, Bill Skaron, Johnny Roseboro Willie Davis and others of the '63 Dodgers play once at Crosley.

BTW, here's a pic of Crosley during the '37 flood..... and one of the field with the Sun Deck in right field.

Had to look it up, but I am pretty sure it is the building that is now the Radisson. It was some other chain back then. We received a $25 a day per diem back then so I doubt I ate at the top restaurant.

Was there a week auditing a low income senior living center that was in an old YWCA building in Cincy. I think it was called Walnut Towers, but not sure. Left that firm 3 months later.

They did look good, but they were playing Auburn. Team still has room for improvement.

ESPN ran some segment this morning interviewing a handful of UK fans and the segment was called #WeWillBeUndefeated or something similar (that doesn't look right)
and they had these people give the reasons why we won't lose.

I'm kind of sick of it as a UK fan - I can only imagine how sick I'd be of it if I weren't. Its like ESPN is just trying to create this environment where everyone lives to see UK lose

I really enjoy watching the games, and I like that we're on ESPN but its literally every 15 minutes into a sportscenter, UK is mentioned. Its just over saturation.

We went from hoping to be top 25 just to get a mention on ESPN under Tubby and Gillispie to what we have now - from one extreme to the other.

If you remember, that's the way dook and unc used to be years ago and even dook to a large extent now... couldn't turn on ESPN that they weren't showing a dook or unc clip or trying all season long to promote the unc/dook games - which they still do. UK fans were outraged at the exposure they were getting. I agree that ESPN is trying set up UK for an L just so they can show the reactions of what they refer to as 'lunatic UK fans'. I still think they'll lose a game before March Madness begins, probably in the SEC tourney or to Arkansas. Athletically, the hogs match up with UK better than anyone on the schedule.. and then there's the game at Georgia.. not a gimmie. If the ball bounces the right way, they can win it all. Takes a combination of things to do so.

Let me guess which one of those two scenarios you prefer...

true, and I do enjoy the occasional blowout - like the Kansas game

but last night I was hoping Auburn would make a run just to put a scare into the team

If this is an internet meme along the lines of the Hitler parodies, I haven't seen it yet. Hate that Roy is the brunt of the joke, but the UK fans in here should enjoy this...

No that was just recently used for a game called The Order on PS4. Basically it is 5 hours long as far as gameplay and has a lot of cinematic stuff so someone dug that up to use as the new hitler video.

It does work quite well cause that laugh is awesome.

Saint wrote:any of you snow belt fuckers know what to do about frozen pipes? I've got a bathroom downstairs in my 97-year-old house that was a converted back porch. So there's no HVAC ducts to it and no hot water. I just close the kitchen door in the winter so I don't waste power trying to heat it. I usually don't take a shit down there when the temperature's below 40.

Like a fool, I didn't even think about that bathroom last night when it was down to 4 or 5 degrees. I left the faucets inside dripping and they were fine but that downstairs toilet had ice in the bowl this morning and now no water flows into the toilet when you flush it and there's nothing coming out of the sink.

I put a portable heater in there and opened the kitchen door to get the temp up but when I left for work around 5 p.m. Friday, it was still frozen. Am I looking at a busted pipe when it thaws out over the weekend or will it just melt and things go back to normal? I have no clue what to do. I've never seen weather this cold.
i'd wager your pipes are busted....if you don't cut the water off to that b-room you'll have a flood when they thaw

I went through that last year in my shop

never mind...see you've already gotten the bad news

Can't wait for Hedges pipes to burst. In his heart.
