As far as the people going crazy over the (ridiculous, in my view) election results...all of this brouhaha does keep the unwashed masses focused on mocking and being mad at the Progressives who couldn't get it done with Hillary instead of confronting the angina they would have over this gilded cabinet PEOTUS is forming.

If there is any amusement I get out of this shit is the deep irony of white women losing the election for Hillary. Her camp keeps blaming Comey, Putin, un(der)educated flyover staters and the racist/sexist/xenophobes...when really it was white women who let her down. Oh the irony. So much for feminism. The "Real Housewives" dynamic is apparently more truth than fiction.

Not saying Trump was, but this idea that women had to vote for her to advance feminism or whatever just doesn't work if you're being asked to vote for someone who doesn't represent your values

Nothing is more vindictive than a bitter woman, and there are plenty of them out there. Definitely plenty of em around here. You could hear the hatred dripping in their voice when they sat around eating their sausage biscuits at the local greasy spoon, old country white women who have never traveled more than 200 miles from the spot they were born more than two or three times in their lives. They straight up despise Hillary, way more than they ever did Bill. She represents everything they are not and never really had any chance to be, i.e., successful, progressive, cultured, powerful, rich, the whole nine yards. There is a very large swath of such harpies out there who would rather gnaw they arm off at the elbow than vote for Hillary. Of course, there are many others who simply disagreed with her on the issues, but that's not the ones I'm talking about here, I'm just talking about vindictive old country biddies whose main activity in life has been to sit around gossiping at the beauty parlor for the past 40 years, talking about the same old shit as their gritty grandmammy's did and their slut granddaughter's are going to be doing. We'll never be rid of their ilk...
