With the news of Mizzoui trying to flee, the Big 12 and Big East (football) should just merge. Throw in the necessary BYU, TCU, etc. to get to 16 teams. Be the first to the retarded number everyone thinks there needs to be. Also, it would add the padding necessary should the Pac 12/ACC/SEC/ and Big TwElveN come a thievin again to keep a conference championship game even if 4 of the teams get poached.
Big easTWELVE Souf: UT, Texas Tech, Baylor, TCU, OU, Okie State, BYU, USF
Big EASTwelve North: KU, KSU, ISU, UC, UveL, WVU, UConn, Rutgers
or
Big easTWELVE West: UT, Texas Tech, Baylor, TCU, OU, Okie State, BYU, ISU
Big EASTwelve East: KU, KSU, UC, UveL, WVU, UConn, Rutgers, USF

Wouldn't her face look emaciated? If this is really her, I can't believe she would think this looks good.

No UM-Northwestern? Should at least be an entertaining affair (not to mention the first loss of the Brady Hoke era).

Think I'm just going to bite the bullet and pick the Giants this week. According to at least one website, they have a 79.5 percent chance of winning - highest of the week - and really shouldn't be favored to win that many games at all coming down the stretch. If one is to use the Giants, this has to be the week, I'd think.

They should add TCU and BYU and however many former SWC that are still in the breeze to stay at 12 after the defections.
or my much better plan of the Big 12 and Big East merging (plus TCU/BYU) to get to 16 before anyone else.

Nah, I'm not much of a betting man, which is why I primarily pick the so-called marquee games (the ones that are expected to be the most competitive). I'm really just interested in who wins these more meaningful games. I can't tell you, for example, if West Virginia's going to cover some 40-point spread against Shitbag U. I don't care enough to give it thought.
Granted, I look at trends here and there and definitely some key stats against common opponents--that type of thing--but I don't do point spreads (Sorry, Sporty).

FYI, despite what the stupid cunt just said on ESPN Montel Harris is not the ACC's all time leading rusher.

So apparently ECU and UCF are to be the replacements for Syracuse, Pitt, and TCU.
awesomesauce.
Goodbye BCS autobid.
Jesus, they didn't even go for Temple? A former conference member in a major media market? What, because Villanova may one day think about perhaps maybe considering going to 1A. maybe. Great forward thinking.
The B-East non-football schools should take their conference and go home if ECU and UCF are the programs that the football schools suggest bringing to the table. The Big East bball schools would do better by themselves to let the conference shrink a little and then add the best of the A10 (and/or Butler) to get to the number they really want rather then suffer the indignity of playing away games at ECU and UCF (and continuing to do so at USF).

Poor Memphis has just got to be going nuts. Yes their football sucks ass. But it doesn't suck any more ass than ECU and UCF suck ass in basketball. I mean, between the basketball schools wanting something to replace Pitt and Syracuse and former conference mates UC, (to a lesser extent)UL, and (to an even lesser extent) USF already in the league... you'd think they would at least be mentioned on a short list of candidates for an invitation.
Temple and Memphis should be invited. Shit, at least invite them along with UCF and ECU. Go to ten teams for football and 18 for basketball (they were already prepared to go to 17 when TCU was invited anyway.) Gives the conference some flexibility for future defections.
Its like everyone else is taking crazy pills.

Somehow this shit is going to shake down so bad that Xavier will wind up in the Big East and UC will be in the Great Midwest v.2.0, this time playing those Charlotte asshats in basketball and football.
yippee
