She co-sponsored a bill that banned it if the primary purpose of the burning was inciting violence, intimidation, or terrorism. It's the typical kind of bullshit law that just sounds good to make it sound like youre doing something. In this case it made the sponsors look patriotic and hard on terrorists or whatever bullshit Send people to fucking jail for being terrorists if they are terrorists, or for inciting violence if they are inciting violence or for intimidation if they are intimidating people, why the fuck does the burning of the US flag need to be added in there as an extra 1 year jail term or whatever?

I'm not defending either of them in this case. I'm just pointing out that both presidential candidates felt strongly enough about flag burning that they think there is punishment. The difference to date however is one of them wants is a law, the other just said there should be some punishment on social media, next to people talking about free range chickens, Kanye West and side boobs

Its interesting that the belief on this topic is that Trump is sincere in his statements (which I guess I'm inclined to believe until told otherwise) and that Hillary is not, she is just placating the morons she holds in contempt as American voters.
