You people = Middle class working people who are tired of being called xenophobic, homophobic, racist, and haters because we happen to have different opinions than others.

This is the type of thinking that kills me. You could have a man state that women should know their place, stay at home, and be a slave to their man. Someone , well since I am "You people", like you would call me a Male chauvinist bigot pig but then if I said I was a Muslim you would apologize and claim you don't want to be a islamophobic.

And that is the crux why "You People" voted for something different.
Yes, you fucking stupid irresponsible people. And, if you don't want to be called xenophobic, homophobic, and racist, don't elect and loudly support a guy who is in the process of setting up a xenophobic, homophobic, and racist government.

Remember Hillary Clinton's mysterious web of international connections that had so many people concerned that she might be unduly influenced for the wrong reasons, like her own personal enrichment?

Good thing we dodged that bullet and elected the other guy.

I think you people are as responsible as those people. After all, who put up a lying, cheating, smug POS as his opponent?

We were called all that LONG before Trump was even in the mix.

a large part of why trump got elected is because people like Cletus the elitist exist

watching the Hollywood meltdown, heads exploding of a couple of coworkers when Hillary lost gave a lot of us a silent satisfaction that working America still had a voice.

I have 3 kids all working their asses off and all losing about over 40% of their paychecks to various taxes and fees controlled by the government. every one of them is getting screwed by Obama care. I have a son and daughterinlaw bringing in 100K in a city in the Midwest--he is lawenforcement and risks himself every day for 45K a year. daughter in California makes a 100k and a sone in Colorado making 65K working for a major subsidiary of google

working their asses off but not enough to buy houses--still paying off student loans all frivolous with their money and watching people sucking off the tit of the government drive nicer cars and afford more groceries then they can

so the only thing that mattered to me is which candidate had the best chance of improving my kids day to day lives where middle class America works their asses off only to watch their efforts show up in somebodyelses Christmas stocking cause lord knows the 50% who work have to make sure the 50% of those who don't work have cable, cell phones, play stations and free internet.

Its nice that the hope change mantra may actually mean something finally for working america

When Trump does something positive for our kids, let me know. I just don't see anything on the horizon that he will do that will help.

He's already going back on the promises he made to whip up this frenzy. Hope he's covering the bill of his wife staying in his Tower until school is over. That's bullshit if taxpayers have to pay it. Kids parents get transferred all the time. Especially here with P&G. They move. They get over it. Plus his young kid looks like he gets beat up a lot.

you know what youre getting with Hillary and I know she pushes the debt ceiling, social security, and budget down the road and more bowing down to 50 million interst groups that donate to her campaign/foundation

trump has 500 plus business maybe 5 went bankrupt the rest have sustained. he has a helluva lot of golfcourses casinos and hotels

he is a dick and a schmuck and an egomaniac

the egomanic part of him hopefully translates into a successful presidency

he really doesn't owe anything to anybody and he is smart enough to back off some of the bullshit and communicate with Romney and nicki haley among others

time will tell--but its the great thing about our democracy--you only get 4 years and then you can be fired

I still haven't figured out why people think Trump is going to solve the problems facing the middle class when he's been a part of what has caused these problems. Dumb blind hope, I guess.

if he can get rid of the irs beuracracy and come in with a much simpler fairer tax system that would be a start

I'm all for that but if we go back to the W era of lining the pockets of those in power, we've taken a mighty step backward. All the rigamarole about the wall and immigrants and everything else won't matter if people, from corporate CEOs to wage earners, are willing to work towards a more equitable economy. I don't know if Trump or any president can solve that conundrum since we've been on this path of greed and self interest for decades.

I really don't give a fuck what I'm called. I'm 50 years old, I know what I am.

If Hillary got elected the demographics of this country would have irreversibly change. I voted for a man that, at least on paper, intends to enforce the laws of this country. He may not, but if your biggest fear is he is going to give the red states a voice - you know - the majority of the country - while marginalizing the coasts that think they know whats best for everyone else, then I hope your fears are well founded.

Because of this election the democrats are going to have to do some soul searching in terms of what it takes to be relevant. The media is going to have to decide if editorials insulting their readers are really the best approach and politicians are going to have to address the right wing movement in the world after decades of force feeding us globalism.

Nationalism won this election. If you don't like it- the line forms behind Rosie O' Donnell.
