It's a fine line PNN treads. Forced sterilization of the poor is Nazism. But sterilization as a condition of receiving "govt money", why, that's just good old-fashioned American common sense.
Of course only SOME of those who receive handouts will be asked to get their tubes tied. Farmers, who receive money for nothing, won't be asked to do so. Nor will anyone receiving corporate welfare. Because PNN understands those people actually have some value to society. Welfare receipients don't even work! That's a proven fact!

Pop quiz! Who said this?
"...we are enemies of today's capitalistic economic system for the exploitation of the economically weak, with its unfair salaries, with its unseemly evaluation of a human being according to wealth and property instead of responsibility and performance..."
No fair googling. Just tell me who it sounds like to you.

You already guessed Bono. So I can't really say you're getting warmer or colder with Michael Stipe.

Yes that's one of Hitler's quotes that, thanks to Jonah Goldberg among others, conservatives love to trot out to "prove" that Hitler was actually a socialist and not at all a right-winger!!
Never mind that the very first people the Nazis went after, after gaining the chancellorship, were the communists. Then they outlawed all the trade unions, then the socialists, then the democratic socialists, and eventually the catholic centrist party.
Nevermind that Hitler's first govt in 1933 was a COALITION government with...wait for it...Germany's conservative parties. The nationalists, the Army, etc. Paul von Hindenberg and Franz von Papen were allied with Hitler. These were hardly leftists. They were hard right-wingers who knew that either the Nazis or the Commies were going to take over Germany and they preferred it be the Nazis

So, what you're saying is that you guys are the only ones who are allowed to make lame comparisons to the nazis?

You have to admit, it definitely doesn't sound like anything Newt Gingrich or Sarah Palin would ever say.

I don't think Gingrich or Palin would ever come out and call for sterilization being a prereq. for receiving welfare either. Beause the electorate would recognize that for the vile filth that it is. And some people might be a little leery of the govt demanding people sterilize whatever the circumstances, even if it's "only" welfare queens.
This is the kind of stuff that liberal social engineers and eugenicists called for in the early 20th century which did inspire German racial and eventual Nazi thinking . How surprising that so-called conservatives in America now think there's much to learn from it.

I can't believe that this morphed into a 'is Hitler left or right' convo. Next up, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Mussolini, Franco, and Kim Jong Il, and Nick Saban.

For the usual suspects.. here ya go - no doubt yer 45 or 8-track is deep in storage.
Well, I've never worked so much
In fact, I've been poor all my life
I guess I really own is
10 kids and a wife
This house is a lived in mine
But it's really a shack
But I always managed somehow
To drive me a brand new Cadillac
Backdoor steps
They done fell plum down
Front screen door's off the back
Sure hope it doesn't skin up that new Cadillac
I know the place ain't much but
I sure don't pay no rent
I get the check the first of every month
From this here federal govenment
Every Wednesday, I get commodities
Sometimes, four or five sacks
Pick'em up down at the welfare office
Driving that new Cadillac
Some folks say I'm crazy
And I've even been called a fool
But my kids get free books and
all them there free lunches at school
We get peanut butter and cheese
And, man, they give us flour by the sack
Course, them welfare checks
they make the payments on this new Cadillac
The way I see it
these other folks are the fools
they're working and paying taxes
just to send my youngins to school
Salvation Army cuts our hair and
gives us the clothes we wear on our back
So we can dress up and ride around
And show off this new Cadillac
But things still gonna get better yet
At least that's what I understand
They tell me this new President
put in a whole new poverty plan
Why, he gonna send us poor folks money
They say we gonna get it out here in stacks
In fact, my wife's already shoppin' around
for her new Cadillac
Send Guy Drakes's Welfare Cadillac ringtone to your cellphone!
