Yeah, and before that, he was an assistant (for one year) at East Tennessee State. Kinda different hiring a former Carolina player who was still a fledgling in the coaching ranks to be an assistant coach than trying to hire a former decade plus Carolina assistant who was currently the highly successful head coach at an elite program to be your head coach. In short: F, take a seat!

I did find is annoying, though, how Stu just had to get his quip in, like an annoying little brother who pops into the room, turns around, bends over and spreads his ass cheeks then runs out squealing...

Kenyon was a Bad Ass on a damn good team. Him breaking his leg is one of the saddest stories in Cincy sports. That team was on its way. Watch if your bored. It's not bad. Notice Little Mick Cronin acting his usual self. No wonder his brain almost exploded almost 15 years later.

Most teams have had to deal with a major injury at the wrong time. Some teams more than others. It's too bad that Cincinnati had to deal with it the one and only time they were legitimately really good, and esp. in a year when they had a great shot to win it all. That's the year Carolina made it to the FF as an 8 seed. That was a weak ass FF that year. Of course, if Martin hadn't gone down, the whole tourny would've played out differently, but Cincy with Martin healthy would've probably been favored in every round of the tourny that year. Sucks for them, but the fact that it broke Rat's heart makes it a little better...

I'm a Bengals fan. I have no more heart to break. After he got hurt they ended up with a #2 seed a few days later. They played stunned the rest of the way. To go from the overall #1 seed to a #2 due to his injury was sad. Huggs had some good teams here but this was his best chance.

Yep, Cincy lost to Tulsa in the 2nd round, and then Tulsa went on to lose to Carolina. Cincy with Martin would've easily beaten Carolina 7 or 8 out of 10 that year. Of course, Cincy wouldn't have been a 2 seed, but Carolina was on 8 seed, so if they had got put in Cincy's region with Cincy as a 1 seed, Cincy would've eliminated us in the 2nd round. I've never quite known how Carolina made the FF that year. After all the great Carolina teams that failed to make the FF, that fucking weak ass squad somehow found a way. It was a down year in general, but still. Whiskey also made the FF that year as an 8 seed. It's probably no coincidence that that is universally considered one of the worst draft class in NBA history, if not THE worst...

I can't decide who I want to win today - Louisville or Duke
I'm also worried about the Bama and South Carolina games - I believe if UK loses in the SEC , it will be to one of them

Bama, SC, Florida and LSU are the games that could give UK an L... Bama and LSU being the toughest IMO. Won't surprise me to see Bama win by 8+ today, especially if they come out an lollygag around like they did with Mississippi add aTm. The Harrrisons had better bring it or be seated on the bench..Calipari has never won in Tuscaloosa..

No way Florida stays with UK. Looks like they're following the lead of their football team and going into rebuild mode. Tough year to be a Gator fan.

I'm feeling better about our offense now - looks like the team is getting it together on both ends
