I liked this one as well: "Tomoto sucks as well this team is so poorly coached". Especially b/c my dad refers to Tokoto as "Pocono", but in fairness, I think he really thinks that's his name...

Also, you gotta love how Roy twists the knife with this opening statement at his post game presser (game was played in Raleigh):

"“I love the Smith Center, but I think Marcus is ready for me to see if we can rent this place."

Roy has always hated NCState, they were really our main rival when he was first coming up as a student and coach at Carolina, but winning 17 out of the last 18 matchups should make him feel better...

Can't understand why Willis doesn't get more PT... best 3 pt shooter on the team along with Booker. I realize his defense is suspect, just as Wiltjer's was, but you need that offensive punch now and then.

Roy loves the fact that Wuffies hate UNC and him more than they support their own team. He enjoys torturing their fans. He does own them to the tune of something like 27-2 (including his time at KU). When Les Robinson was fired and made assistant AD in 1996, NCSU had him gauge Williams' interest in the job. He all but laughed on Robinson's face at the coach's convention.

I didn't know about that either, although I'm not sure it's true. It's hard to imagine that State fans would even want Roy, and even harder to imagine that even the most optimistic State fan or administrator would think they would have a chance of hiring Kansas's coach, much less a UNC guy who was currently enjoying great success at Kansas. Good lord, he turned down UNC the first time we asked...
