This will be the first time a Republican president will come into office with a majority in both houses since 1928.

who knows what Trump will do but I suspect Obamacare is D.O.A. along with any hope for a single payer system.

Heh, "majority". Half of that majority didn't endorse Trump. This is going to be real interesting. Trump wasn't even a republican until a year ago, and he's really not now, either. Going to be interesting, to say the least...

Yeah ,trump had to win against the MSM, the elites in both the GOP and Dem parties plus the Clinton crime family. I was saying majorities in a historical sense. I hope his win causes both parties to explode but I doubt anything will change.

I would say, as I always do about this time ever four years, "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss," but I really don't know if Trump will be the same as the old boss. I know that's what a lot of his voters are counting on, but I don't know if they going to be happy that they got what they wished for. We'll see. I suspect Trump is more liberal by nature and background and life experience than most of the people that support him realize. We'll see how it plays out. I suspect the republic will survive, irregardless of Trump or his supporters or his detractors. On another positive note, it appears that various marijuana initiatives passed in a variety of states. Pass the dutchie on the left hand side...
