Her accomplishment is that even though she was a lesbian, she held her nose and fucked Webster Hubble to spawn a political card that makes her look somewhat matronly.

Even the NYT is exposing the fraud that is Brock Obammer.

Rather than talking about the 1 percent and the 99 percent as if they were forever fixed, it would make much more sense to talk about the fact that Americans are likely to be exposed to both prosperity and poverty during their lives, and to shape our policies accordingly. As such, we have much more in common with one another than we dare to realize.

Of they do that NOW, he's a lame duck. Obama has nothing to lose. He cannot be re-elected. He can only violate the part of the Constitution that says he must be born in the country. He can't violate the part of the Constitution that says he can run for election for President 3 times.

Does it even matter? Print journalism isn't even "work" anymore, its dead as dead (I mean fuck, Ladies Home Journal just went to quarterly from monthly just last week), so I guess if women want to "work" at the NYT, more power to them. You go grrrl!

SEC probing New Jersey Governor Christie's transport funding: report

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Federal securities regulators are probing whether New Jersey Governor Chris Christie's administration improperly diverted funds from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey for use on transport projects in New Jersey, the publication Main Justice reported on Friday.

The Securities and Exchange Commission is looking into New Jersey's use of up to $1.8 billion in tax-exempt bond financing from the Port Authority to fix a bridge and roadways feeding into the New Jersey side of the Holland Tunnel, Main Justice reported, citing unnamed sources.

The SEC's inquiry follows several other probes launched after the so-called Bridgegate scandal, in which operatives loyal to Christie's administration are accused of causing traffic jams on the George Washington Bridge in September in retribution for a New Jersey mayor not endorsing Christie's re-election.

The controversy has prompted scrutiny of nearly every aspect of the Christie administration and his Port Authority appointees. The Manhattan District Attorney's office is looking into the use of Port Authority funds by New Jersey. Federal investigators and a New Jersey special legislative committee are also probing the bridge incident.

A Christie spokesman did not reply to an email seeking comment.

About $3 billion of Port Authority funds were originally earmarked for an $8.7 billion project that would have built a new commuter train under the Hudson River. Though construction had already begun, Christie killed the project in 2010 after taking office.

But New Jersey is using some of those funds to rebuild the Pulaski Skyway and roadways leading to the Holland Tunnel.

Under its 1921 charter, however, the bi-state Port Authority's purview includes access roads to the Lincoln Tunnel, but not to the Holland Tunnel. So the Christie administration allegedly pressured the Port Authority in 2011 to re-brand the Pulaski Skyway as feeding the Lincoln Tunnel, according to Main Justice and The Record, a New Jersey paper.

A Port Authority spokesman declined to comment to Reuters. A local SEC official did not return a call seeking comment.

Meanwhile, in real news.....

WMAQ reports more than 40 people have been shot in the city since Friday, five of them fatally. One of those killed was 32-year-old Leonore Draper, who was active in working to end violence on Chicago's south side.

But while this weekend was bad, the weekend prior — Easter weekend — was even worse.

Forty-five people were shot across the city, nine of which died as a result of their injuries. In one case, five children were shot while walking home from a park on the South Side Easter night.

JD, why do you hate portly Americans? That is obviously the root cause of all your criticism of Christie.

The Rahmfather will not be pleased with the war zone his city has become. I bet more people are being killed in Chicago than Iraq and Afghanistan combined.

Tired of those fatties not pulling their weight in Free Market America! They're all on the public dole:

*3-5 Billion in corn subsidies
*300 Million in livestock subsidies
*1-2 Billion in wheat subsidies

They're taking my tax money to make Christie fat! That's why this country is going to hell - I remember when Americans stayed fit by plowing their own land, hunting their own meat and they didn't ask Uncle Sugar to pay for it. Now every time Christie sits on his fat ass and eats a Cheeto, some honest American has to work another 1.2 milliseconds to subsidize it!

If you like your ag subsidy, you get to keep it. Period.

As a Libertarian, I am deeply opposed to ag subsidies except the ones that I personally benefit from.
