When a local Asian buffet place opened over the summer, they weren't fully stocked in all areas so on their dessert bar, they had a tray of Swiss Cake Rolls. I presume they had gone to the Walmart a couple hundred yards away and bought a few boxes, unwrapped them and put them out. I was sorely disappointed to learn on a subsequent visit to Hibachi that Little Debbie didn't live there anymore.

I will handle this as far as snack cakes go:

Star Crunch is the absolute WRONG answer.

Swiss Cake rolls and Stu described them in the freezer is the winner.

Oatmeal Cream and Fudge round are excellent choices also.

The Zebra cakes are not bad. The Fancy cakes are okay also.

They used to have a choc / fudge Zebra cake that was the bomb. Basically is was like the fancy cake but choc / fudge for the top and middle and used yellow cake. They were my favorite.

The normal and cosmic brownies belong with the star crunch but they are small percentage point better than the Star Crunch.

The Nutty bar probably goes in the middle somewhere.

Little Debbie Double Decker Oatmeal Cream Pie for the win...

I knew I could count on BRM to provide the correct information on this topic.

And of course, I knew that DS would chime in with the absolute loser despite his penchant for gobbling sweets.

Believe it or not, sweets aren't my thing for the most part (not a chocolate person and don't like most pies, cakes or ice cream flavors). It's the other shit that gets me...

Swiss Rolls are by far #1; however, snacking on fudge rounds feels less guilty because they are so small.

The Swiss Rolls are #1. I really like the first two bites of the Oatmeal Creme Pie, but each bite after that has a steep decline in satisfaction.

It's that grainy icing/frosting/"cream" filling shit in the middle. They make my teeth hurt. But yeah, that first bite is good.

Grainy? Stop eating some cheap, ersatz Oatmeal Creme Pies. Real ones are smooth. Not grainy!

Plus, Nick Saban eats Oatmeal Creme Pies.
