Sucks about Brewer, but there was an article last week talking about what a subpar year he was having and how the staff was considering trying somebody else at that safety spot.

The number of injuries UT football has had this season... wow.

Oh lol... I was about to respond and say the safety(ies) suck so maybe this was a blessing in disguise as this would force them to try someone else. Comming up against MTSU, this could be a good thing. Get a new safety and put Whorley back in against MTSU, this would be good practice. I'm not sure MTSU is an "easy" win given the current state of our team but this is a good warmup for the Vandy (I can't believe I'm saying that...) and Arkansas teams of world.

Fuck KY! I'll believe they can beat us when I see it.

Pac-12 has reprimanded and fined USC's Lane Kiffin $10,000 for comments about the officiating in the Trojans' loss to Stanford.

Herman Lathers was back at practice today for the first time this season. I wonder if he can play QB.

Palardy is hurt and the backup hurt himself during pregame warmups. They literally had to go scour the campus to find the walk-on who will be kicking in tonight's game. The injuries this season have just been absurd.

Austin Johnson gets an INT and we actually punch it in for a TD.

...and the waterboy makes the PAT!

Vols 7, MTSU 0

I'm not liking how they are moving the ball against us.

We hit them for a tackle behind the line that time. Excellent.

It's not the defense I'm worried about.

Nice pass by Worley. Da'Rick shows his ass and costs us 15 yards. If he would have held onto that sure TD pass last week, we might have won. He's not exactly making himself my favorite player.

Oh joy. MTSU saw what SC did to us. They are going to start running their QB.

I was just thinking about how, with the exception of FGs, our special teams seem to have gotten better this season. We promptly drop the punt. LOL
