Why are the Ravens passing so much? Why? Especially with a 20-point lead.

Because it got them 27 points in the first quarter and a half?

I've got both defenses playing right now. the good news is the Ravens D nailed down a win this week. the bad news is I was so far behind in my other league even the Jets' 2 DST scores wasn't enough to get me close...unless Joseph Addai runs for 300 yards and 5 TDs tomorrow

Still fuming over the JJ Watt call. I know, I know, let it go, but damnit...

OTOH,

LOL @ Flacco and Sanchez being a combined 18-56 with 4 turnovers between them.

Steelers holding on almost every pass play in the 4th Quarter and only one call. And then the nonsense with calling JJ Watt for a late hit when he's CLEARLY being blocked into the QB. Even the call on the blocked FG was limpwristed as it had no bearing on the play.

I'm just glad they finally overcame this type of crap to win this type of game. Christ.
Take the win and STFU. You're worse than a Seahawk or Bungle fan...

and in other lonestar news baylor and RG3 go down in manhattan against the now 20th ranked cats. snyder is a genius although RG3 throwing his first int of the year with us down by 2 with less then 4 min left certainly helped

the bull shoit call of the weekend was the giants wr diving to the ground and hopping up without the ball. I thought only the qb's could take a dive like that. if its a rule a wr/rb can do that might as welkl adapt the college rule in the pros--go with omne or the other--knees/elbow down stops the play or you can get up and run woithout contact but can't just lay the ball down if no contact.

Hey, if we're the Miami Heat of the NFL, it's only apropo. Miami started 8 - 9 themselves.
ESPN did a piece on David Akers during Countdown yesterday that basically made Andy Reid look like a complete ass (which he may be - who knows?). Anyway, Eagles chose to go with a younger kicker instead of good guy Akers, and turns out that going cheaper with a kicker can backfire.

Moreover, their defense features the two worst tackling corners in the league (Nnamdi and Assante Samuel) and easily the worst linebacking corps in the league, not to mention unproven safeties. People who thought the EAgles were going to be some sort of dream team didn't really look at their complete roster. Andy Reid should absolutely be fired if the Eagles don't win their division this year.

Spacer,

Has Rice ever been on the good side of a 21 point spread?

I expect they'll cover it as well...
