Cubs announcers said Phillips was hands down the best.

End discussion.

I had both Cano and Phillips on my last fantasy team. Seemed like a great idea but of course both tanked the first half, and I ended up picking up Kelly Johnson who was having a nice rookie season - rode his hot streak for the rest of the season.

That was one of the greatest fantasy teams ever constructed.

He's got 16 walks in 12 innings. Kid isn't ready. Send him down and let him start until he learns control.

Agreed he couldn't get his mama out. He needs to go back to AAA.

I'd just like to say that I am honored to be in the presence of jw's baseball talk. I think I can speak for all of us when I say that I'm glad he's gifted us with his brilliant insights and tough two-fisted no-nonsense facts. He is baseball. If you cut him then pine resin comes out. He shits chalk. Just by the sound it makes he can tell you if a line drive is to left, right, or center. He can smell home plate. On a good day he can hear dirt whisp over pitcher's mound and he can feel a rain delay with his ass. Good God what a baseball man!

Too early for that. He had 12 straight scoreless outings before giving up 6 runs in the last 3. Votto was like 3-25 until yesterday. Wanna send him down too?

"That was one of the greatest fantasy teams ever constructed."

Not as great as my fantasy team of Jenna Jameson, Cassidey and Briana Banks...

If Joey had as little track record as Chapman and was performing as poorly? Damn right I'd send him down.

The kid needs seasoning. He needs regular work and if I'm Dusty, I don't want to use him in close games right now. Send him down, let him pitch and bring him back after he proves himself able to control his stuff better.

The Cincinnati Reds have a current 9 game winning streak going in World Series play.

That's a streak I expect to remain intact for another 22 years.

Yeah, Dusty manages a Division Championship team, you manage 8 cats. I'll go with Dusty.
