I tried to post this over in IDF, where klaatu has been shilling, but it kept crapping out. This would've been an appropriate send-off for klatz:

"They" went bankrupt, and as far as I can tell its just been a group of the software devlopers that used to work for them that are continuing support for their software (bayspire). I guess they didnt have enough resources to do it all.

They couldn't even keep the servers synched up for user pics and taglines, and other user data. Thats when they stopped charging, they couldn't track paid users across all 5 wc servers, and any time they tried to sync back up it crashed the site.
