The Fat Man kept Tennessee strong with a decade of stellar recruiting. But for Tennessee, "stellar recruiting" is, by definition, out of state recruiting, since the state of Tennessee is not exactly a gold mine of high school football talent. If Dooley can rekindle Fulmer's out of state recruiting magic, Tennessee will come back. If he can't, then they won't.

I dunno...some of that would start with locking the state's borders.

I could mention a few "gooduns" from Tennessee on Alabama's team recently... I won't, but I could.

Coach Dooley hardly ever lost to Florida.

Florida was a a cream puff until the 80s. Then they started to get good but got caught cheating. It wasn't until SOS came to town that the Gators revolutionized offense inthe SEC and Florida started getting all the top recruits from the sunshine state. Dooley was a great coach for his time, but he was not nearly as successful as CMR in winning percentage and consitency. His three year run with Herschel skewed his accomplishments upward.

At the end of the day, Auburn has had little success against CMR, so I find it amusing that you take so many shots at him. You should be worried a lot more about LSU than Dooley vs. Richt.

I'm not worried about LSU. I know they'll beat us pretty bad.

I think Richt gets a win against AU this year. And probably F. Those two looked absolutely hapless last Saturday. It's like we were watching the 3-2 game between AU and MississiPi St. The refs were obviously cheating for Auburn but, they were taking advantage of the help they were given so Florida has no room to bitch.

If Georgia makes it to the SECCG, the Boise people will be up in arms: "We killed the SEC East champ! Give us a shot or we'll sue, BCS!"

Incorrect. AA has assured me that Auburn will beat Georgia this year. At least that's what I think "book it" means.

And they'll have a somewhat valid point.

Screw them, their blue abortion of a field and any point they believe they have.

The SEC East is so bad this year that Auburn could win it.

Correct.

And AU beats UGa this year. I think 8-4 regular season and a trip to a bowl game in Atlanta or Tampa is in store for the Tigers. Which is simply amazing considering the talent they lost.

Nah, GAy wins, AU finishes 7-5, and loses their shit bowl game.
