I think Krauthammer has it right. We should block any Russian advance with our own military, even if events escalate into a full nuke-shooting conflagration. Odds are our lasers could knock some of those rooskie ICBMs down. There's an excellent chance we'd have survivors, imo.

Well Russia has a shit ton of Oil and Natural Gas. So they could be dicks though. However, if we could have decided to change our ways say like 20 years ago and really made an effort to do away with foreign oil and become self sufficient, then we could put the hammer down on them and not worry about the non-sense.
