I was gonna say Tottenham, for the team.

The ex-Pat life should be a fairly easy adjustment for your wife in London, I think. I lived in Edinburgh. That was hell.

Heh. I like Edinburgh. It's no London, though. Not even close.

And to be fair, I've never lived there - for more than a week, anyway.

I enjoyed Edinbrah as well, but that was 25 years ago...

My time there was 14 years ago. The people are great (I still keep in touch with many of them), the outlying areas are beautiful and lush and if you mess with golf, it's a no-brainer...I just struggled with the food, the music and the TV. I was also in my 20s then and the Edinburgh talent had nothing on NYC.

I understand it has gotten better there in recent years.

Didn't take ManU long to sack Moyes after he took over for Sir Alex.

Predictable. Sir Alex didn't exactly retire because he was going to be fielding his best team ever going forward. They were getting old. If they really wanted flash and reloading they should have hired a continental manager and given him a shit ton of cash. Instead they hired a "team builder" who damn near got Everton relegated in his second year there, but turned it around and made the champions league in his 3rd season. And then instead of seeing it out and following through on their choice, they fire his ass right away anyway. Now they are going to have to hire a continental homerun manager and splash out for an entire new team anyway, probably. And they may even do worse next year.

And now that we've managed to post some soccer posts, we're probably going to have to hear from DS about the glory of this Liverpool season and how all his years of Liverpool fandom have finally paid off, how he can remember singing Gerry and the Pacemakers songs swaying in the Kop when he was a little boy or some shit like that.

And Moye was handpicked by Sir Alex.

Hasty. A few months wasn't enough time.
