The answer is nothing but the social order, with those on top remaining on top and those below remaining below

Big liberal lie numero uno......no place on earth, at no time in history has there been more upward mobility (out of poverty) than the US(although Brock has put the brakes on, big time).....honest question, what country/universe do you live in?

I'll go out on a limb here and state, unequivocally, the air will never, ever be clean enough for the tree-hugging enviro-nut (communist) wing of the dem party. We will always need holier-than-thou progressives to keep never ending crises (race, global warming, pollution, guns, rich vs poor) from killing us all.

Just 43 percent of Americans currently approve of the president’s job performance, down 11 points from this time last year, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll. Disapproval is 55 percent, up from 42 percent last year. A CBS News/New York Times poll released last week showed Mr. Obama with a 42 percent approval rating and disapproval at 50 percent.

The president’s approval rating is even lower than it was – 49 percent – when his party suffered a bruising loss in the 2010 midterms, and puts him lower than almost all other recent two-term presidents at this point in their presidencies.

In summation....the past five years of pain/misery have been brought to you by Fox news, Palin, and the tea party.

But Bush screwed up the big Orange.

I'm embarrassed to even have to point this out to you....but the prez-approval halftime score doesn't mean squat, it's the number at the final horn that counts.

“Society will develop a new kind of servitude which covers the surface of society with a network of complicated rules, through which the most original minds and the most energetic characters cannot penetrate. It does not tyrannise but it compresses, enervates, extinguishes, and stupefies a people, till each nation is reduced to nothing better than a flock of timid and industrious animals, of which the government is the shepherd.”
― Alexis de Tocqueville

“It is indeed difficult to imagine how men who have entirely renounced the habit of managing their own affairs could be successful in choosing those who ought to lead them. It is impossible to believe that a liberal, energetic, and wise government can ever emerge from the ballots of a nation of servants.”

Obama: Pot No Worse than Alcohol

Pretty bold, but he could have gone further.

For starters, the AMA recognizes medical marijuana, whereas there's no such thing as medical margarita (or martini, or Bud Light, or whatever).

And nobody gets baked and beats the shit out someone. It's never happened in recorded history.

Brad Pitt’s Make It Right Foundation has built 100 energy-efficient and eco-friendly houses in New Orleans to replace homes damaged by Hurricane Katrina. Unfortunately, the organization believes that some of the wood it used is now rotting, reports The New Orleans Advocate.

The organization used TimberSIL, an innovative glass-infused wood product produced by a South Carolina manufacturer, to build porches and outside steps. The absence of chromated copper arsenate and other chemicals typically used to prevent rot and decay was a selling point for Make It Right.

"The absence of chemicals for preventing decay was a selling point"

"Instead of treating the wood with toxic chemicals, it's actually infused with sand, or silica, such that it takes on the properties of treated lumber," Tom Darden, the executive director of Make It Right, said in a 2010 interview. "At the end of its life cycle, which is estimated to be about 300 years, it can be mulched and composted, believe it or not."

Unfortunately, Make It Right has found that TimberSIL can't stand the moisture in the balmy city and has turned dark gray and begun falling apart. The organization has replaced wood in 30 homes and is considering legal action. TimberSIL has reportedly caused trouble for at least one other client: a project in Western Massachusetts that had to be repaired when the builders found the wood retained too much moisture and couldn't hold paint.
