AND he has a knee problem...

Yes, he is destined for a medical hardship thingy.

I'm amazed that Rivals hasn't downgraded him to a 2 star. His commitment to Auburn alone should have done that by now.

You know, that would be funny, if there were any truth to it. Isn't Auburn in the top 10 in recruiting? Haven't they been for the last three years?

Speaking of funny, we Auburn fans want to sign Kristin Saban to our football team. Like, yesterday. She has the kind of kick ass amazon spirit that any football program needs to win a NC.

Put Luper and Trooper on that recruit.

Well, instead of downgrading Foster a couple of stars, Scout upgraded Bama recruits Bateman and Howard to 5 stars each on the same day that Foster flipped.

Are you suggesting that their ratings are artificially inflated and that this is a trend with recruits going to the University of Alabama- this seems to be your implied thesis statement. If so, do the inflated ratings make said players perform at a higher level? Because if the former is true, the latter appears to be correct, as well. Otherwise, it's hard to understand two national championships and 49 wins since 2008.

Yes, yes...it's definitely the recruiting rankings. And from scout no less.

Scout shouldn't stoop to such Rivals-like behavior.

The next thing you know, Scout will become scrupulous in their billing practice...

Foster hasn't signed a LOI with Auburn yet, but this is the next best thing:

It would be nice if Liner did the same. I can recommend some first-tier prison tat artists.

I've a feeling the whole Foster thing was planned al along...especially with the comments mirroring Yeldon's so closely. It's obviously Trooper, and we all know he can't spell the big words in Yeldon's comments without copying..

Apparently, Big John Copeland has come out and said Foster was paid to go to AU. Dear Lord, I wish he would just keep his mouth shut. The SEC is in danger of becoming the SWC with all the tattling and back-biting.

Well, it's hard to dispute this bombshell from such a weighty authority as the defensive coordinator and off-season strength and conditioning coach for the Tuscaloosa Academy Knights in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

I expect Danny Sheridan to provide the smoking gun on AU's payments to Foster as soon as his lawyer gives him the green light. Scott Moore even has tapes proving AU paid Foster, and will play them on the radio, just as soon as he finds a sponsor.

We'll get the death penalty for sure.

Milton McGregor was the bagman. No question about it. He'll spill the goods on Auburn to the feds to save his hide.

Ditto for Bobby Lowder. We're gonners.

As the defensive coordinator and off-season strength and conditioning coach for the Tuscaloosa Academy Knights in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Copeland has all the insider information necessary. He just blew this whole conspiracy wide open. The NCAA has already deployed its death squad.

ESPN has the goods on us too. Gee, I'll miss Auburn having a football team.

I knew you'd throw out some ridiculous bluster.

Meh.

Anyway, I don't know what he knows, or if he is just saying what he thinks happened. Rumors about Foster gave been making the circuit for about 2 months. Pryor to his flip, many of those rumors were made by Auburn fans. Now, Bama fans are...it's likely Copeland just took those rumors and ran with this on that TV (radio?) show he's on.

It needs to stop.

I have been to The Bunker/ITAT. It's pretty funny stuff. It's the Tider Insider of Auburn. I have friends who frequent both ITAT and TI. Both sites are full of whackos. People who make Prof look reasonable.

Thank you for the, er, compliment.

I read ITAT for the news, but almost never the forums. There are indeed wacko's there.
