The historical Jesus, if he existed, is likely to have looked like he came from a family that had lived in the Middle East for 2000 years. In other words, he was probably a lot like today's Middle Eastern folks. Not the paragon of the Nordic race with light sandy brown hair that Megyn Kelly imagines he must have been. It's interesting and telling that if you look at depictions of Jesus from early Ethiopian Christians or Christians in medieval China, Jesus always has the same race as the artist.

As for Santa, what's the psychological motivation behind someone who gets pissed off at the idea of a black Santa? His origins are in european folklore, sure, but he's a mythical, magical creature.
