Texas couldn't stop Skattaboo. The Longhorns had to get lucky to win that game. You think Ole Miss could have stopped him? On what field could that have happened? Certainly not in Atlantia Dave.

#. TEAM RUSH YARDS ALLOWED AVG. RUSH TD ALLOWED
1 Ole Miss (16) 83.5 7
2 Indiana (9) 89.9 12
3 Michigan 92.6 10
4 UCLA 96.2 17
5 Ohio 99.9 14
6 SMU (12) 100.2 13
7 Penn State (5) 100.4 7
8 Ohio State (6) 101.1 11
9 Tennessee (7) 103.9 13
10 Texas (4) 104.5 11
Yes…I’m saying the #1 rushing defense in college football would have had better success than #10 Texas, who also played a lesser schedule than Ole Miss.
What else you got?

running on 3rd down, not passing it away and not going out of bounds - that was pretty bad

Nothing. Its all I got. If Ole Miss had gone 10-2 and not 9-3, then maybe they would have made the playoffs?

I like this new tradition of being able to watch the Oilers lose again once a year….

Washington has won 12 games for the first time since I was in first grade. It's borderline surreal because this team has pulled off so many last second wins despite stupid penalties, secondary issues, a running game that has regressed to being all but wholly dependent on the quarterback and now an injury to the starting center that had a noticeable effect yesterday, injury issues, and a run defense that's a fucking sieve. The future is bright even though I fully expect a slight regression in record next year even if the team improves because so many of these games have been won late.
In fact, I'm in borderline shock and still can't quite believe this has been happening. I hope they can beat Tampa, but I suspect Tampa covers the -3 late.

Its been what? 34 years since Washington was this good? Wow. What a long time. What an amazing season for them.

It's well documented on here for years of my disdain of Tomlin. He insists on running the ball because it's our "personality". We beat the Bengals the first time by throwing for 400 yards. So what do we do the second time? Run 65% of the time. The first 9 first downs were running plays. The worst defense in the league can stop the run when they know it's coming.

I’ll be rooting for Baltimore, even tho Lamar Jackson needs to tighten his shit up in the playoffs big time. Then Buffalo, my Dad’s team. Then after all that, Detroit I guess, since they haven’t won anything since 1938.

I understand the point you are making. Detroit is not the town for winning sports and it might be nice to see them win this thing. Still, they have won more in Detroit than buffalo has ever won
