I was visiting my mom who just spent a week in the hospital for salmonella poisoning from a Chinese restaurant.
We had KFC.

The taxes are high, but that's the only reason I can imagine the offer was $2bn. NO ONE had the Clips valued that highly. He could have paid $400 - 600 million less and still easily beat every offer. However, that offer keeps the Sterlings from really fighting it because they really wanted to avoid the Cap Gain tax if the team sold for $800 million. If they waited till the old man died, the heirs would get it gifted to them and the taxes would have been lower. Now, it doesn't matter because their after-tax haul will still be more than they would had rec'd if they got market price on the franchise.Jungle Rat wrote:If he's proven to be looney this might take awhile. Plus, that a hell of a lot of capital gains taxes. 13 million to 2 billion? Ouch.

I want to price the rings and haggle as much as possible because I am not just going to bend over and take it from those overpricing assholes.
