Good Morning America
Bradley Cooper Faces Backlash for DNC Appearance
Political conservatives have raised an outcry online after seeing “American Sniper” star Bradley Cooper among attendees at the Democratic National Convention in the actor's hometown of Philadelphia.
Cooper earned critical acclaim and an Oscar nomination for his turn in the 2014 hit film about Chris Kyle, a former Navy SEAL who was killed at a Texas gun range in 2013, allegedly by a former U.S. Marine he was trying to help.
Kyle -- who served four tours in Iraq and was considered the deadliest sniper in U.S. military history -- has been held up as an icon of conservative ideals.

Fans of Cooper's portrayal of Kyle took to Twitter to register their extreme displeasure at seeing the 41-year-old actor at the event on Wednesday night.

I guarantee you there are more people who don't want Trump or HIlary than want both of them. So why are we forced to choose? Do over.

you're not. Unless you want your vote to be for someone that can actually win. Not many people remember John Anderson.

That's my point. Why do we have to choose between the 2 money candidates? Why weren't there any good, smart, electable candidates? Why aren't there ever?
I was only 15 but I liked John Anderson in 1980, although I couldn't tell you now what he actually was proposing.

All I know is that the MIF has been a consistent repub voter all her life and now she's talking about putting up a Hillary sign in the yard. She just thinks Trump is a whacko. If she's thinking that, I'm sure there are plenty more out there like her. She's a kind of everyman (or everywoman) as far as female voters who don't really pay attention to the issues (or anything else) but just vote by "feel". That's not a good sign for Trump. I could easily see North Carolina going for Hillary. And if that happens, it's going to be a landslide....

I think Hilary will win by a lot. People ultimately will be too scared to vote for Trump and the Dems are more likely to fall in line behind Hilary than the GOP is to back Trump. Then we'll have 4 years of the GOP spending a lot of time and energy and money trying to bring her down. I'd almost rather just see utter annihilation due to Trump than deal with that.
I think it's time for the GOP to return to its Buckleyan roots and forget about the country types they've been courting since the Reagan years. Go high and mighty and get away from these idiots with a bible in one hand and the constitution, neither of which they understand. Too many country lawyers have been elected to state houses across the country that have little fundamental understanding of the conservative ideology set forth by Buckley in the early '60s and instead are just loading up on whatever the Limbaughs, O'Reillys and Hannitys are babbling about.

This certainly won't help Trump. The 4th Circuit ruling for North Carolina was a 3-0 vote.

I was hoping that Cruz would get the nomination and to have the Republicans to lose by a landslide. This problem is that there is no compromise, and part of the reason for that is the elected Republicans aren't afraid of their left or middle, but of their right. Right now, the idea of compromise to move your agenda forward is considered being a RINO. Too bad. Reagan did it, Clinton did it and both Bushes did it. But the instant the current President got elected? They've got people who actually believe it's okay to default on our debt obligations downgrading the credit of the United States. Need less gerrymandering around the country and more competitive races in the House and Senate.

they're getting educated on that by Trump - not the conservative ideology but being manipulated by Fox News.
