Trump Jr. tweets out that Wed. night oprama stole his line "the America I know" from his speech in Cleveland. Now it's been proven that the president has used that line 4 times (at least) since 2008.
What is it with Trumps and twitter?

Excellent usage of an old reference.

Actually the point was Tim Kaine ISN"T the governor of New Jersey. Odd that the Donald wasn't up to speed on that.

ahh
Trump is going to have to fuck up bigger and many times more than that before I'd ever want Hillary to be president
No one except Trump bashers are going to hold Trump accountable for that level of knowledge...where Tim Kaine is from, who is the leader of Uzbeckistan, what the treaty of Versaille says
This is where the the people scratching their heads on Trump get wrapped around the axles. His voters either don't care or believe he has the ability to overcome the gaps in being a polished politician. Matter of fact they don't want him to be a polished politician so the bar is pretty low - as we've seen - on their tolerance of him in regards to professionalism, public speaking and fact checking.

There is something in his taxes he doesn't want people to see.

LOL goddam, Trump can see New Jersey out his window. Current NJ governor Chris Christie has been up his ass 24/7 for months....sorry, no excuse on this one. Not a polished politician?? Psych wards are full of 'em...most are medicated, docile and halfway civil.

eCat is right, there is a calcification of support for him. There is no way that will change with the tickets constituted the way that they are.
Still, from my perch, his best case at the White House passed with the failure to indict move for Hillary from the DOJ/FBI.

Trump said four years ago that Romney should show the country his taxes. Ten months ago the Donald said he would show us HIS taxes. Now he says 'he probably won't', and his supporters say his returns are too complicated for the average Joe to understand anyway.

Trump seems more angry at Bloomberg than anyone else that spoke.
After the Repub convention, Trump went up to at most 44% which is his diehard support. I expect Hillary to go up as well after the DNC convention to her diehard support, probably about 46%. It'll stabilize that way until the Presidential debates. Doubt many people at all watch the Vice-Presidential debates this year.

He'll end up showing his taxes. It may not change his diehard fans mind, just like little will change the mind of the diehard Clinton fans, but those people on the margin that are questioning and doubting both candidates may demand it, just like Romney eventually had to do (release his taxes).
