My brother lived in South Bend for five years which caused him to hate everything Notre Dame with a passion.
Outside of seeing the Indianapolis 500, there is no value in visiting that state. Glad it was checked of my bucket list when he was there.

Randy Moss has liver cancer. Hate to hear it for anyone but damn, he is young (by my standards)

When I went to see Carolina play there in 2006, despite being drunk out of my mind, I remember riding through South Bend on the way to Notre Dame and thinking that the shithole looked like pictures of Sarajevo after the Balkans wars.

"that the shithole looked like pictures of Sarajevo after the Balkans wars."
So are you saying you'd (ahem) balk at moving there?

Am I convinced this will be a success? No.
Do I think it could work? Very much so.
Do I think Carolina should have done this? Yes, after all that has transpired/been disclosed, I think this was Carolina’s best bet to get into the world of big time football at this time. When you’re in the position of a school like Carolina regarding football, you have to take big chances. That is what they have done.
Am I excited? You’re damn right.
Nice to see Julius Peppers at the P/C.
Belichik bringing out his dad's old UNC sweatshirt from the 50's was a nice touch.

He was able to get donors and the school to come up with money for Revenue Share / NIL and staff in a way that Mack could never approach, or any other person they could have hired for that matter.

I think with conference realignment on the horizon it's a smart move by UNC. Helps in the bidding between the Big 10 and SEC.

so he either wants to leave his NFL options open, or UNC knows they're gonna have to buy his ass out in a year to get rid of him

That's the chance we take. We know we're dancing with the devil, but there are no other viable options that gets Carolina this sort of shot.
