Chipper just tied Pete Rose (for 2nd?) in the all time extra base hits by a switch hitter.

Baseball has a statistic for everything.

He's passed Rose in extra base hits now.

I have to admit, the Reds haven't gone into their mid season fade. Not sure how all the pieces fit with the pitching and Votto but its working.
I like the stinky pinky but only up to the first knuckle, I do not want a GD thumb up there--I've told her multiple times and I always catch her when she tries to pull a fast one---it's my butthole for Chrissakes I'm gonna know--so cut out the BS.

Damn you, e.

You post that and Homer immediately surrenders a 6-0 lead. If the fade begins now, I hold you responsible.

To put that into perspective, so did the Mets at one point this year.

Had club level seats for the Reds today. What a great day, and what a great team. I dare say this might be our year.

I really hope Pirate fans & players really don't think Chapman actually hit McCluckin on purpose. So far he's been an easy out for the Reds. It's been 20 years guys. Pace yourselves.

I don't agree with the reaction of Josh Harrison to being hit by a 90mph shot in his thigh but I do agree with Clint Hurdle 100%. This takes away any chance of the Pirates making a comeback statement which is sorta what baseball is about. Bad call. Its baseball.

Saw this on another forum. I did not check his stats. But it doesn't matter because CJIAFBHOFer. Especially since third base is the least represented position in the HoF.
Chipper scored his 1600th run yesterday.

Looking at where Chipper's career stats place him in the record books vs all other NL 3B in history is pretty impressive:

vs. all-time NL 3B:

1600 Runs (1st in the NL)
2693 hits (1st in the NL)
544 doubles (1st in the NL)
464 HRs (3rd in the NL)
1609 RBIs (1st in the NL)
1486 BBs (2nd in the NL)
.305 BA (4th in the NL)
.405 OBP (1st in the NL)
.532 SLG (1st in the NL)
.934 OPS (1st in the NL)

Throw in the AL and compare his stats to all 3B in MLB history:

1600 Runs (2nd all-time in MLB)
2693 hits (5th all-time in MLB)
544 doubles (2nd all-time in MLB)
464 HRs (4th all-time in MLB)
1609 RBIs (2nd all-time in MLB)
1486 BBs (4th all-time in MLB)
.305 BA (8th all-time in MLB)
.405 OBP (2nd all-time in MLB)
.532 SLG (3rd all-time in MLB)
.934 OPS (3rd all-time in MLB)

I wonder how bad those postions for Chipper would drop if you took his line and compared it to all players in MLB. I bet they would drop hard.

Need a stat geek with too much time on his hands....aTm, DSL?

Fuck Chipper Jones.
Sure, I could have stayed in the past. I could have even been king. But in my own way, I am king.
