Front court should be loaded with Stein, Poythress, Lee, Lyles, Willis and possibly Johnson. Johnson will probably declare knowing he won't have much playing time next year, but Chad Ford projects him as a late first rounder or early to mid second rounder. Ford said Johson would greatly improve his stock for next season if he returns to Kentucky. If he's smart, he will.

I believe that is to assist them with entrance issues due to their high school grades and testing.

And I am sure those Kentucky kids were attending their calculus, advanced chemistry, and english lit classes all the time to earn that 3.0 also.

Surely someone like Cal wouldn't know how to work the system and help his kids and all. He has never been on the radar before.

LMAO at the ECAT picture. I am going to use that a LOT.

If Calipari can actually get players to stay for 2 years, he could really do something at Kentucky

"Poy"

OK, but do you say "Poy-THRess" or "Poy-TRess"? And if the former, do you really emphasize the H, a la Daffy Duck?

How will he improve his stock if he doesn't get much playing time??

"If Calipari can actually get players to stay for 2 years, he could really do something at Kentucky"

Actually, if he does that, UK will become more like Carolina, b/c the only way the players Cal recruits stay 2 years is if they're really not good enough for the league after one year. In other words, they're more like MacAdoo than John Wall (etc). And there's nothing wrong with that, it just means that the one and done's are really two (or three) and done's...

around here, it's pronounced POOR-tris

It's typically a redneck with a little money type name. Never seen no black man named Poythress hereabouts.

There was a family on the next street over named Poythress. The youngest son, Gary, was a little older than me and a little bit of a goof off. He became a dirt track driver and nearly kilt himself in a race. I haven't seen him in years. He had two older brothers, Mike and Randy, who were roundly recognized as the baddest ass motherfuckers in our neighborhood but I couldn't tell you what either of them looked like because I never looked at their house as the car went by if one of them was out front. They rode motorcyles.

One of them married a girl from our graduating class. She was pretty hot when it came down to it but she never hung out with anyone we knew. She was still hot at the 20-year reunion. I used to try to shove my hand down the front of her pants when I sat behind her in 7th grade. She always resisted but never seemed to mind terribly at my attempts at molestation. Later, I was always leery that the Poythress brother might show up drunk at my house with a motorcycle chain ready to make it right...

2nd year player in his first playoff experience, guarding the best player in the league, hangs 22 and 10 on the defending champs...that's a pretty fair offensive line from a mediocre pick who hangs his hat on defense
