Yeah we were looking at this image last night at the bar.
I was with the whole Phoenix chapter of the BC alumni association. We had almost 30 people there watching the game. At the other end of the bar was the Phoenix chapter of the FSU alumni association. It just worked out that way. In any event, it was great to watch BC win but I didn't want to gloat. Those people at the end of the bar, they were already hurting after Georgia Tech. Now, basically the entire 2024 season is kaput.

I just smoked way too much, brahs. After your 5th toke of lackluster weed, apparently Walter Abercrombie from like 1984 pops into your head. Is what it is I guess. Good runner tbh.

The "Cheeseburgers and Cold Beer" across the street from our house is taking table reservations for the Texas-Michigan game. That is a new one. The manager said they might implement a mandatory table minimum bill to sit there for 4 hours to watch the game. I actually think that is perfectly reasonable. Can't just sit there and drink 9 diet cokes and leave after 4 hours. Buy a steak.

I drank a Miller Lite today for the first time since I can't remember when. Hopefully it'll be that long until I have another one. It tasted like carbonated water...

I’m pretty positive that I haven’t drank an entire 12oz Miller Lite in my lifetime.
I’ve probably tasted it less than a handful of times, and not in many years. It’s awful.

A friend of mine worked at the Busch Beer Distributors in town when I was in high school, so we got Natural Light for free.
I've switched over the years - Killians, Rolling Rock, Yuengling - now its craft beers local to my town, but I always revert back to Natural Light when its just hanging out around the house.
I rarely drink beer anymore though. Hell, I only drink vodka when I'm out on a company outing and they're buying

I'm with ya'll on Stella and all the Euro beers in the flavor profile (Becks, St. Pauli, Peroni, Pilsner Urquell, Grolsch, there are others)..

Carlsberg and Stella are my choices for mass Euro beers.
If I’m drinking mass produced American beer it’s Coors Light, Coors or Budweiser.

I prefer Miller Light to both Coors Light and Bud Light if I'm gonna drink an American light lager. Miller Light is much closer to the flavor profile of an actual Pilsner beer than the other two are IMO. Coors Light just tastes like water to me, out of the three it is the most egregious example of a beer just being to take all the taste out for the consumer to chug as much as possible.

We did a taste test a few years ago on a fishing trip, we had Coors Light, Miller Lite and Bud Light. IIRC, what you say about Coors is correct, it was the most club soda-like of the three. Bud Light seemed to have a slight metallic taste but still basically club soda. The Miller Lite actually did have some slight hint of malt or something that made it seem remotely beer-like, but the one I had the other day was more like the Coors Light from the fishing trip..

All 3 are trash beers. Natty Light has more flavor than all 3. So does Busch.

I like a cold regular Budweiser or Coors every now and then. I'll have to try a Natty Light sometime, that was our go to beer when we were in high school. That and Stroh's...
