First, I applaud your use of the term "Tetragrammaton." Who said Episcopalians were theologically ignorant?

Second, BGTC has been scarce since its creator, AA, has been scarce too.

The road behind us warmly glows. Forward is the unknown, and though it may offer peril, forward, inexorably forward, we must go.

Give us a BGTC, AA. Just for old times sake.

Sounds like CeCe and his family are holding on to the LOI. Turns out the UF position coach and main recruiter is taking a job elsewhere and didn't mention it during the recruitment. Daddy is pissed.

This is getting interesting.

CeCe is a classic BGTC unless he flips to Auburn.

Williams had a hell of a run at UF...best one month tenure since Mike Price.

Donny's foal was hobbled on a run. When that happens, you have to put it down. It's not pleasant, but no one promised that life would be....pleasant. It's long stretches of shitty and mundane punctuated with a few magical moments.

Speaking of the fabled/foibled Price era - does UF really have a head coach at the moment? After all this McElwain guy hasn't coached a game.

If he's fired before he coaches a game for you, then no. The altar is The Swamp. The wedding will be presided over by 90,000 of your brethren.

Magical moments...like "it's rolling, baby, it's rolling!"?

And we decide when this horse is dead, kind sir.

The sun broke through one of the cracks on Anderson's barn. Jeb looked at Martha and grunted, "Daybreak. We gotta get going."

"What if that's not daybreak? What if I decide it's just moonlight and can stay a bit longer?"

"You can do what you want, Martha. But I won't be a party to your goddamned foolishness."

Everton looked at Billy and issued a crooked smile. Billy nervously snapped and unsnapped his empty holster's strap.

"You plan to shoot me, then don't waste my time," Billy growled.

"No, I won't shoot you, Billy, it's all just a bad dream. A nightmare."

The shot made Everton's ears ring. Disoriented, he looked at the chunk missing from Billy's head and sighed. Nerves and a hair trigger killed Billy. But it didn't matter. Nothing mattered. The night just got longer, and he knew Frenchie would be coming for him.

The Gyyraxxian ship elevated and turned away from Substation Alpha. The turn evolved into a roll and with an almost artistic simplicity ended up directly behind the Substation. The weapons array was aligned perfectly to launch an attack. The Substation had one defensive weakness and it was evident from this positioning that the weakness wasn't the best kept secret in the Triangulum Galaxy; but instead of attacking, the ship slowly backed away.

Cryofreeze does strange things to the minds of Gyyraxxians. Best to simply nod and thank the stars when the encounter doesn't end in bloodshed or death.
