I've missed almost every game since Thursday because I'm carrying water for my boss. This past week has single-handedly sunk my work morale, regardless of the cash that hits my account twice a month.

All three SEC teams still in the tourney. Don't think many suspected that.

Three SEC teams in the Sweet 16 and a double-digit seed guaranteed to make the Elite Eight. Gotta love March.

UK to the FF, mark it down. Not that they deserve it but it'll happen.
Fitting end to a confusing season for UNC. Was hoping they could sneak past ISU and then take UConn and it would be an Elite Eight year when Duke was knocked out in opener for 2nd time in 3 years. In the end, all the teams but Fla. and Zona seem pretty mediocre.

From the sense of Facebook, my family, and other places, you would have thought that UK Fans "rushed the court" yesterday after the win against Witchy State.
Really? You are fucking Kentucky for god sake. They are a mid-major. Period. No one should give a shit if they were unbeaten. They are Witchy State. Kentucky should have been expected to win. Even if you had a crappy season.
I felt the same way when VCU played IU. It was the 12-5 match up and IU being the 5. Same year they beat Kentucky on the last shot in Assembly Hall. Everybody kept saying it was the 12-5 danger game and all the experts picked VCU. I was like, fuck that noise. We are IU and we may have been down but still.
Not trying to pick a fight but for all the shit given for rushing the court, seems like UK fans did it yesterday.

"Paige tried to seal the game with that open three, but it was a horrible idea."
I was pretty pissed when he took that shot, esp. in light of subsequent events, but now I realize that this team overachieved all year. It was a good look by Paige and the shot almost went in, he would've been the hero if it had. Can't really fault Paige for taking that shot, although I almost would've rather had a shot clock violation at that point and run off 35 seconds than a quick miss. Oh well, oftentimes when something like this happens, you can say "Well, we wouldn't have even been there if (fill in the blank) hadn't been playing for us", but in this case, we wouldn't have even been in the NIT if we didn't have Paige. It wasn't a bad shot on his part and he carried the team all year, I can't blame the kid for taking that shot.
Very encouraged about next year, Paige is a legit stud, MacAdoo as a senior will be a George Lynch type of glue guy/team leader, and if Brice Johnson continues on his current trajectory, he could be all-ACC next year. I think Meeks will be much better, too (he's already pretty damn good for a freshman, I can see him being really good next year). We only lose MacDonald, if even one of our incoming freshman is worth a shit, we should be pretty solid next year. Still, I would've loved to play UConne this week, I think we would've had a shot against them, although that very likely would've been the end of the road for us. Still, not a bad season overall...

Considering every angle and story line, historically and just from this season alone, UK vs. Louisville could potentially be one of the great Sweet 16 games ever...
