If the broncs make a stop with 2:20, Manning woulda pulled it out 28-27.

And now Tommy and Belicheat don't have a reliable fg kicker. Bummer.

i didny even know steve sabol had brain cancer

I remember his 30 minute films as classics often being shown after the main game in the the midwest.

classic football follies. classic music to go along with it, classic narrators, classic superbowl short 30 minute segments produced for the ages.

RIP

one of the worst wobblers was actually the TD pass to Thomas.

Broncos receivers must not be used to passes hitting them in their hands.

with all the gnashing of teeth in Indy over the past 10 months over the team's roster decisions.... Andrew Luck has as many wins as Purrty through three games.

every blind frog has his day

there's an argument to be mad for simultaneous catch. when they went up there were 4 hands on the ball. jennings had it against his chest though.

the screw job was the lack of offensive interferance on the last play and on the 30 yard play that got them down there to begin with.

I won my 100 dollar league game because they didn't call an interception by 1 point

Im sure plenty of apologists and Seahawks fans have and will wrongly say it was simultaneous catch, but just because any idiot can make an argument doesn't mean a legitimate argument can be made.

Not to digress, but Luck has as many wins as Belicheat/Brady as well.

crash can speak to it better than anybody, but I don't think there was much controversy in Indy at all wrt to Luck-over-Peyton. The stars aligned just right for Indy to repeat what they did with their #1 pick back in '97...with the aim of building the team around a young franchise qb.

It was pretty much the perfect storm. If they didn't have the number one pick to get Luck, they would have traded the pick for a ton load of others and started reloading through that process and went for one more run with most everyone back. However, if that would have meant keeping Caldwell then oh hell no.

The db caught it with both hands and had his torso between the receiver and the ball...the receiver mostly had one arm wrapped around the db with a hand on the ball.

The part I don't get - one ref signaled touchback (int) - the other TD. How did they determine which call was the ruling on the field?
