"vacate"

i.e. if a building is on fire then you "vacate" the structure, NOT the people

too many people say "vacate the people from the building"

which literally means to make everyone in the building vomit & shit

People say "I evacuated..." which means they emptied THEIR insides. Not what they were going for.
