Meh. Considering most of Europe's secular bent, I think that's a worthless metric. If there were more Muslims in Israel than Jews, THEN you'd have a good story. The absence of Christianity in the European culture doesn't mean the threat of an Islamic state is greater...or any greater than it is to a largely secular culture (like you have with the Scandis, for instance).

I'm starting to think Trump might have a chance. He's not going to pull any punches about any and everything Hilary has ever said or done. Of course, his entire existence will provide Hillary ample opportunity to counter-punch. The next 6 months are going to be like multiple WrestleMania events. Trump off the top rope! Hillary with the piledriver! It's going to come down to whoever can get in the final suplex (off the top rope and including a backflip for extra torque). This should be fun...

There is still a large amount of sexism, even amongst Democratic based men. I don't think observers are factoring this in. Having a woman at the top of the ticket is new territory.

Yeah, my dad would probably never vote for a woman president. But, now that we have Trump on the other side...

I think Trump will not do as poorly as many expect, but it's not as much male or female votes that make things difficult for Trump, it's Hispanics. He very well could lose New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona and maybe even Virginia and North Carolina. The "who wins Ohio" maxim that existed for many elections will probably not even matter. I don't think he'll get slaughtered, but his climb is very steep if he wants to get to Washington.

I still maintain that he didn't want to get this far and his pride is keeping him around. I mean, even his kids didn't bother to register properly to vote because they didn't think he would be around that long in the race.
